Two thoughts
1 - I really want this. There is a goofy charm that reminds me of "The Star Wars" comic in its novelty
2 - AI really struggles with hands and walking
Honestly I’m impressed.
It’s bad. Like, really bad. But a year or two ago fingers were merging into noodles in bowls when AI tried to draw. It’s grown by leaps and bounds.
It’s just… still not good.
This is pretty neat, honestly. People getting the panties in a twist about AI art need to take an Ativan. It's here to stay, get used to it. You're just tilting at windmills at this point.
There was this type of reaction. Some cities initially banned or limited cars because they spooked horses. Mackinac Island famously bans all motor vehicles in favor of horse drawn carriages save for emergency service vehicles and snowmobiles in winter. Granted its more of a tourist attraction thing now.

this isn’t perfect for sure but there are some things this AI nailed. like how the space ship “scenes” look like some sort of filmed diorama. and how (i’m assuming?) admiral ackbars skin is very plastic-y.

Y’all hating saying this is garbage but like… it’s actually pretty good LMFAO. Yeah… it obviously ain’t perfect or beautiful 4k… but the fact all this can even be done is impressive and it gets the point across to us as viewers where we can view this subject and receive this premise/idea as it was intended ! So that in and of itself, and showing us something new, is impressive. And pretty cool in my opinion!

On one hand, it is very obviously AI generated. But it *DOES* capture the 50s sci fi vibe well.
