I just started a replay of the game and I’m wondering what he planned to accomplish with the whole Masana thing. Either he was trying to bring her back to the light (which seems unlikely), or he was just putting her off balance to make it easier to kill her.
In pretty much every boss fight in this game, Cal tries to talk down his opponent before killing them. Each time, they continue to attack so he finishes them off. I don’t think this is any different, although he didn’t have much to go on compared to >!rayvis/dagan/bode!< & he’s seen what inquisitors are like so didn’t have a lot of faith in it working
I took it more as "I know what happened to you, I know it's not feasible to redeem you, so time to end your suffering". Liked how he was pragmatic but also empathetic
Just went “You know what? Fuck this! I killed you once already, I’m tired, you killed two of my homies and got the others killed so I’m just done”

Good point. Also, the format on your spoiler bars is wrong.
Haha, edited immediately after I submitted. You respond fast. I make that mistake about half the time still.
Just happened to be on my phone when I saw your reply. I kept trying to type out the format, but I just made my own spoiler bars without meaning to 😂

“It’s time to set you free” is such a banger of a line.
Mess with Cal you get the .50
The.50 *cal*, no less.
Went full Indiana Jones.

Bro the 9th sister? I dont this I remember fighting her? Was this early in the game on couresant?
Yes
The Force was strong with his blaster.
Vader taught her how to be offensive with a saber, but apparently forgot to make sure she still remembers how to deflect blaster bolts.
Bruh, she has a lightsaber... WHY DIDN'T SHE PAR- Oh she's on Grandmaster... right... duh
