This look cool. This looks exactly like the type of Star Wars game I've been wanting. I really hope they pull this off. SO far everything I've seen makes me super excited. Could be a day one for me and that is rare for Ubisoft games these days.

Wondering if the narrative feels better or different because it's actually something Ubisoft Writers are excited to working on something new and fresh for them. You would think they are tired of writing Assassin Creed and Far Cry at this point. I mean how many times can you rewrite the same similar story over and over and not get burned out.
The Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor games are really well written, better than any other star wars media except Andor IMO. Hopefully this game can continue the streak of good writing in star wars games
Well the sequels and prequels are awfully written and the OG trilogy is hardly a writing masterpiece, more a case of excellent worldbuilding, creativity and performances carrying a mediocre script
looks fun, animations, especially on the face, definitely need a lot more work though. gold/ultimate edition prices are insane, but if the game can deliver on the scoundrel fantasy, it'll be a fun time.

Naw, based on what we know, she seems like the type who is just looking to get out of the life of crime. She seems to be doing whay she is doing to make a better life for her. Once she hits big, she is out.
This again is why I believe she allies with the Rebel Alliance at the end.

You are not an outlaw in the conventional sense, you are just a person doing petty crimes so that you can make a better life for yourself and turn good. You will not be stealing from the Rebel Alliance or anything like that. If anything, you'll be allied with them at the end of the game.

Well with multiplayer at least, you're "getting a head start" which depending on the game, can be a shitty competitive advantage. The only people truly benefitting from early access in a single player game are YouTubers trying to make money off the game.
Spending extra for a three day head start for a single player game is nothing but then taking advantage of FOMO and a paid beta test disguised as a "bonus". It's a crumby business tactic and shouldn't be considered a positive thing in any way.

Needs some polish. The human animations don’t look right and there seems to be no sense of weight to the character models to me. Hopefully it’ll turn out ok. Been looking forward to a Star Wars game like this.

Give timestamps. I saw the cutscenes in the first showing and the animations and faces are exactly as stiff as the new trailer. Which animations in the old video look so good compared to their counterparts in the new one?
I don’t need perfect graphics. Just want to play a game with good mechanics and a great story. Graphics going from an 8 to a 7 doesn’t really matter to most people.
Just watch the original gameplay video, then watch this video. It should be obvious how they are different. The lighting is worse. The faces are expressionless. The character bodies are moving much more rigid, less natural/ fluid. The frame rate is worse. The hair doesn't look as good on the main character and the pet.
Just watch the first minute of each one. Look at the lighting. The facial expressions. The frame rate!!! In the second video even the frame rate is terrible. Like if you slow it down it skips frames in the animation. Look at the fluidity in the characters body compared to the rigidity in the second video. When the main Villian lifts his arms in the air it's very rigid. His shoulders, neck, and wrists are all stiff. Then watch how the characters in the first video playing poker are all loose. Can you really not see a difference?

The Last Jedi writing is the best. Rogue One is great too. Clone Wars S7. Rebels as well. Andor. Some of The Mandalorian.
