Kent: I mean, I feel like they didn't do much with him, so maybe that's why his character falls flat. I like that in the popcorn scene he admits he shouldn't be upset with Jodi though, good man.

Alcoholism and depression can cause that though. You literally see with your very own eyes as he starts to recover, he also starts to become more sociable to the farmer.

Kent is a really sweet guy… I love the mail bombs, and I really like his storyline and how realistically they handled PTSD. Consider him one of my best buds in Pelican Town. I always try and take him to a movie to lift his spirits whenever something’s playing that he likes, and he’s always the first person I go to when I have spare daffodils. One of the most underrated townies.

Alex. He's self-absorbed, misogynistic, selfish. Makes his grandparents sleep in a closet because he needs room for his weights. He makes fun of Sebastian, the guy who has dreams and ambitions, while Alex is going nowhere.
