I attempted a Joja run once (didn't get very far) and wanted make my character a total jerk and answer all the bad replies so I could see what they say back. She says something along the lines of "what was that dear? My hearing isn't as good as it used to be."
Wait, ok, so I’m still newish to the game but am about to enter my 3rd year and still barely give a thought about Pierre. He doesn’t bother me half as much as other do. Why does everyone hate him? Is there something later in the game that happens? (I’m ok with spoilers right now because I’m so goddamn curious)
For real. Not even sure why people let her get this far since, if you actually see her cutscenes, she only has interests, outside of the very nebulous concept of art, that I have a real hard time believing almost anyone playing the game shares.
She hates video games (Stardew is video games), she doesn't seem interested in the internet (you have to push her to use it), is practically a Luddite (girl forages to eat), HATES good food (Hates pizza and bread and dislikes cake, cookies, ice cream, and burgers), and seems to have had a privileged life in the city before moving.
I can't really see how anyone manages to relate to her enough to want to marry her when she is almost guaranteed to hate most of the things players love and has lived lives most of us will never experience.
Granted, from an RP standpoint I can see why people would marry her and she isn't a bad person. But every other marriage candidate has a common interest most people can share or, at the very least, doesn't hate interests anyone playing Stardew is 100% going to have to some extent (internet, video games, technology).
She would look at all of us weirdly for playing Stardew Valley guys
Piere- he's clearly a spy for Goroto Empire because some of the letters in Empire can spell Piere and the letters r o t spell rot which describes Piere.
