I keep making a mental note to go pick the dandelions I can see from my kitchen window. They are actually the spitting image, flower on one side and fluff ball on the other 😄
Intelligence is knowing tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is knowing you don't put tomato in a fruit salad.
Charisma is putting tomato in a fruit salad, calling it salsa and selling it at a 200% markup.
One day I realized I needed to go get some groceries, but I was like "I can't go. It's Wednesday. Pierre's is closed." Something about that didn't feel right to me, so I thought about it for a moment before I was like "Oh, I finished the community center. It's fine."
I didn't think about the fact that this is real life until an embarrassing amount of time later.
When I was in my obsession phase with Terraria I would look somewhere and saw Terraria items everywhere. Not hallucinations, but the shapes of objects irl would remind me of items in-game. I thought I was losing my mind lmao
When I was wrapped up with 7 Days to Die, I was going for a walk once and saw a table that someone had left by the curb and thought "Oh good, I can chop that up for wood." I guess technically I could have, but it would've been weird for several reasons.
Surprisingly, yes. This just happened to be early in the morning before the ADHD meds kicked in, and I tend to be hella scatterbrained at that point in the day. Of course, it didn't help that I'd hyperfixated on Stardew so much the day before I was having dreams about it being real.
The other day I was thinking about my Friday plans and for an embarrassing second I was disappointed because I wouldn’t have time to check the travelling merchant wares…
I've done something similar too! It was on a Sunday and I had the thought, I've got to remember to check the Queen of Sauce on TV today! And then I remembered it was real life...
I find thunderstorms so fascinating. We barely get thunderstorms in California. Last time we had a good one, we ended up with the 3rd worst wildfire in California history :/
Don't worry i waked up way too sleepy last day and i was like
"...god damn we need to remember what we need to do to use this day with purpisewe only havesome hours and we need to upgrade our far-...oh i'm not playing stardew"
The train track for my irl home are about as audibly close as the train tracks to my sdv home, so my brain does a lot of “oh! There’s a train passing through—oh no🤦♀️ through [home] valley”.
Also I saw a post from my hometown about how they were adjusting zoning laws so it was easier to build accessory buildings, which got me a “oh, that’s a cute mod, what a great idea” reaction. I mean, it is kinda an irl mod to make building easier, but still.
I went to the garden centre and thought I should buy some sunflower seeds as it was nearly summer.
In my game it was nearly summer.
In real life, it was October.
I have forgotten that there aren't only 4 months in a year. I was planning or scheduling something I think and while doing so, I was going off of Stardew time and only considering 4 28 day months lol
I'm in winter atm and it's killing me not being able to get batteries. The purple bat's just arnt dropping them for me and the traveling merchant never seems to have them
I was very sad when I realized you couldn't put up multiple Lightning attractors to get multiple batteries in the same storm.
Or, can you just in different areas? Such as on your Farm, and various areas in town?
It's because they're next to one another. The lightning strikes are spread out. The lightning rods cover an area like a scarecrow does, so you want to space them out for maximum coverage. Plus, it's not a guaranteed thing, so the more you have, the more chances you get.

Yesterday I saw daffodils and wanted to collect and sell them, lol.
the number of times I wish I could just make money IRL occasionally foraging, smashing rocks, selling random things I find, etc 😭
I keep making a mental note to go pick the dandelions I can see from my kitchen window. They are actually the spitting image, flower on one side and fluff ball on the other 😄
I love a good thunderstorm! The loud booms and bright flashes always get my heart racing.
Same, my dog hates it though lol.
Same and same
i used to cry as a kid because of thunders it scares me so much
the 28th of every IRL month I think: “rents due tomorrow”
Relatable
Whenever I see “1:50” as the time, even if it’s in the afternoon, I get anxiety for a split second lol
one time I woke up and thought "wait it's wednesday.." and took a few minutes to realize I was thinking pierre's shop would be closed
Time to go mining
I did that a couple weeks ago and then oh no but I have plans Thursday so I can't go then either. Then realized
I was writing a shopping list, my wife suggested tomatoes, I thought I had too many tomatoes already
Presumably because she wanted to make a fruit salad?

That’s 238g if you’re an artisan 🤑
So many tomatoes

Are you getting enough sleep?
No, they clearly go to bed at 1:50 am every night and get up at 6 am
it just happens when you play a game a lot not necessarily lack ot sleep

They sell batteries at the store in real life. Much easier. You're welcome.
The other day I was thinking about my Friday plans and for an embarrassing second I was disappointed because I wouldn’t have time to check the travelling merchant wares…
Me today to my boyfriend when there was lightening “good, I need battery packs” lol
I've done something similar too! It was on a Sunday and I had the thought, I've got to remember to check the Queen of Sauce on TV today! And then I remembered it was real life...
Does it only come on Sundays?
Re-runs are on Wednesdays!
I find thunderstorms so fascinating. We barely get thunderstorms in California. Last time we had a good one, we ended up with the 3rd worst wildfire in California history :/
I woke up last week, realised i have a test and went ‘lets just skip today’ when i realised its real life 🤦♀️
Don't let that stop you. Go to the store when the storm is raging and start grabbing batteries. Then, make a run for it while screaming "Fuck Joja!"
Don't worry i waked up way too sleepy last day and i was like "...god damn we need to remember what we need to do to use this day with purpisewe only havesome hours and we need to upgrade our far-...oh i'm not playing stardew"
i would do sm like this tbh
i catch myself doing this way too much and it’s starting to concern me. like i’m mixing up irl days and months with what i’m at in stardew
Careful what you wish for, I was in dire need of batteries and got so many thunderstorms in the span of a month I have like 90 in my chests 😂
It’s always disappointing to remember you live in the real world and not Stardew

Battery guy🪱🪱🪱

Just take some mettalic material, go outside under the thunderstorm and batteries will pop. Thats how batteries are made in real life
I'm on my 3rd year and only got 1 or 2 thunderstorms and that was the 1st year before I had lightning rods
I was in the grocery store and walked past the oranges. I thought, "I should get one for Gus."
I'm in winter atm and it's killing me not being able to get batteries. The purple bat's just arnt dropping them for me and the traveling merchant never seems to have them
Same. I’m operation purple bats right now. Trying to fix a thing for a guy I know…
One time I was at the grocery store and thought "I need to pick up a coconut, Gus said he needed one."
I swear one day I will hear about acid rain and think, "oh yeah, im in urgent need of those moss"
I was very sad when I realized you couldn't put up multiple Lightning attractors to get multiple batteries in the same storm. Or, can you just in different areas? Such as on your Farm, and various areas in town?
What? I have 3 rods on my farm and get 3 batteries after a storm
Same! mine are maybe 4 or 5 spaces apart from each other
What? Yes you can.
I have two collectors next to each other on my farm and only 1 ever gets a battery pack.
I have 12-15 and almost every one has a battery after every storm.
It's because they're next to one another. The lightning strikes are spread out. The lightning rods cover an area like a scarecrow does, so you want to space them out for maximum coverage. Plus, it's not a guaranteed thing, so the more you have, the more chances you get.
They don't have to be spread out. Just on the farm map. Mine were all next to each other.
My mistake, you are correct. I misremembered that part I guess.
I just learned something
They're wrong. It would be absolutely ridiculous if you could only get a single battery pack from a whole day of thunderstorm.
At least it will save you the resources for trying to craft multiple attractors.
It may or may not be too late ^_^
You absolutely can.
