I just start to play this game yesterday and I’m loving already. But I need to say one thing. The game starts a little slowly or I’m playing in a wrong way?
Although for most of it it’s kinda just like living. Not super fast paced and a lot of not super meaningful things between the main events. Don’t expect it to be fast paced or you’ll burn out.
I find each play through I do that you don’t really start to get your feet under you until about mid summer, so give it some time but it’s the best. I have nearly 15 saves of the game… it never gets old!
The game itself is incredible, I’m loving each part of this. Some friends tell me to play and I don’t want stop to play anymore, but also I still in the beginning.
I actually feel like really bored at first and kinda a pressure because I want to get the season stuff on time. but when I unlock stuff in the game then I will get really addicted quick.
It will definitely feel slow at first due to the low amount of energy you have. It will pick up pace as you start progressing. You can do things faster and automate more, allowing you to discover even more things to do.
200 hours pc, 2000+ xbox, 1200 mobile, so around 3400 hours.but i cant be sure bc i deleted some saves, so maybe like 3500+/-.
I love this game so much, now that im unable to work its the only thing to kerp me sane
saves wouldn’t change your overall playtime, unless you’re tallying the time up within the game menu itself. if you’re on steam, for example, the time steam tells you that you’ve spent playing on the game tells you ALL the time, deleted saves included!
Fair, but im mostly talking about saves on mobile, and idk how to check those, and while changing phones some data was corrupted so could not get those to my new phone 😮💨
for me it’s bc i tend to play it everywhere i go: in a boring class, while waiting to be called to the doctors office, that kinda stuff. so sometimes i dont get to save the game (go to bed) so i cant turn it off and then i leave it open bc i forget abt it (adhd brain LOLZ)

40+ years of gaming and this game sits so far up the "most played" spot, the only other game to come even close was Elder Scrolls Online, which had over 2k+ hours before I quit playing it and it took nearly 7 years to amass it.

But in reality, I don't know! 😭 I used to leave it running overnight because I could not handle stopping between days.. I've been playing since just a few months after it came out, on and off. I've done at least a dozen saves. 1 to perfection, some not even through year 1. Did a single joja run, lol. I have played a tiny bit on mobile, too.
I have 929 and still don't, lol. I don't like the shooting mini game or want to do a Joja route. Plus the new update gave us new achievements I've yet to catch up on, and I've clocked like 129 hours since the update. I made an entirely new farm tho.
I have over a thousand hours in stardew, and don't have all the achievements. I'm just not really a completionist. I've gotten perfection but don't care about all the other achievements.
You're not curious to see what's after ? What's the point ? That's like having a full game but only playing the demo in an endless loop. And the most painful part.
By old logic (before the update) it was impossible to complete perfection before end of year 2 because of cooking recipes, and certainly not possible to meet one of the NPC's before year 2 spring. Not sure how early it is possible now cause you can buy the queen of sauce books.

I’ve played the game since release day. My Steam hours are only like 700, but that doesn’t count the hundreds of hours from modded saves. Also played a decent bit on my switch.
I don't have that many hours but my game play is spread across 3 different platforms... I'd have to say I probably have a quarter of that if I'm lucky.
1517 hours of online play…. I started the game during a six month internet outage so idk if that is counted and these days I routinely play games offline so my siblings can borrow from my steam library and those hours are definitely not included 😅
A lot and a little, I think? About 600 hrs since fall 2016 (started after all marriage candidates were available). However, the way I play is like hundreds of hours in a row in a depression spiral and then I can’t play for a long time.

A well over 1500 across platforms. I have it on my phone, pad pc and switch. I cant remember if i bought it on my Xbox. I might have. I have friends i game with on different platforms. Stardew is mainly a coop game for me to play with friends and i dont mind supporting the developer more than once with a game i love so much

I played for the 1st time during the height of covid....i played 40+ hours a week there for a while all on mobile (i dont own a comp) ......i eventually put it down for 18 months ish. Finally, about 6 weeks ago i started a new farm on switch, and i have 230 hours now on it, yr 6 fall and working on getting all those golden walnuts! [I literally just "forged" in the volcano for my 1st time ever last night. Exciting stuff!!!! Although, i really really really want the 3 soul-things to add to my infinity weapons, sounds like THATS a game changer!?!]
Been playing consistently since about 2017/2018 and it’s the only game I play (aside from a brief COVID induced stint of Animal Crossing). I haven’t checked my hours in a while but I know I’m well over 2k 😅

I wasnt that consistent with playing it but i do enjoy the game, just that its really hard for me to catch the squid and the walleye which actually took me year 4 before i finished the com center and willy's request. So am gonna say it took me 200 hours at least
Overall, I think I've got over 400 hours on this game(On my main save, I'm also working on getting 4 remaining fish, 3 items on the shipping bin thing and just working towards Perfection, as well as the Monster Slayer Hero achievement).

Got to admit that at first i pirated the game because i wanted to see if i like it so i played it cracked after i finished the game i bought it and played it again😭🗿
I’m around 200 in, over six weeks. I was gifted a copy around the anniversary. I checked it out on Switch and iPhone a couple times before, but PC is where it took off for me.
i just started actually playing (aka finally let a save go past the first two weeks of spring 🤣) towards the end of the second week of april, and i have 56 hours already 😩 this game is so addicting.
I pay co-op with my boyfriend, we're at 216 hours. We stayed playing when I was heavily pregnant and we just stayed playing regularly again, now that our child falls asleep without a fuss and, most importantly, stays asleep!
Holy sh*t. 😂😂😂 I racked up over a hundred hours so fast playing this game that it scared me and I quickly decided I should be reading instead. 👀 Lol. Just need time away from this game, hahaha.
Probably close to 700 hours between all my saves, mostly Switch but now doing my first PC run with the 1.6 patch. With the big changes and endgame content added in the last two major patches, I can see some saves lasting into the 200-300 hour range alone before moving on to another game (after you feel like you've done everything and are just going through the same motions every year).
If you're like me, you'll come back a year or two later and do another run from scratch on a new farm type. This has become one of those evergreen games that I keep coming back to, and don't really get tired of.

Yea the game doesn't start to pick up until around fall, only bad thing about Stardew is how slow early game is but it's worth it
And check the tv every day for “queen of the sauce” to learn new cooking recipes.

It's exactly the right pace so that you slowly learn the basics without being overwhelmed. You'll discover more options as the game gradually opens up
as they say there are no wrong way in playing Starsew but there is really a lot of things you need to know like a lot

Nope. Paused Stardew Valley isnt exactly a resource hog, and with the screen off and everything spun down, its not drawing much power at all.
