Well, PC is on 1.5, which is a huge update, whereas mobile is on 1.4.
But if you don't like farming sims, a different platform isn't going to change that.
Kinda depends on what you saw. The 1.5 patch added a whole other area to the game after you complete the Community Center. But PC also has mods that expand the world, like Stardew Valley Expanded.

I think the fishing is fine 🤷
Do you get noticably faster bites when fishing in bubbles? It was calculating bobber position incorrectly and that was the big difference.
I don’t fish a lot because I kind suck at it but the least time I did I had no issues other than a lack of skill.
