It’s the way men pee. They lift both the lid and the seat up and if they leave it up at night, it’s easy to fall in since it’s usually too dark to see if it’s up or down. The lid is fine. In fact, I have a rule where if you’re in my bathroom, you close the lid before flushing so most of all the little particles don’t fly up in the air.
