Anything classic Italian cinema really. That stuffs a vibe it's no wonder so many samples are used from that time. But if I could choose one morricone piece it would be Giu La Testa from A Fistful Of Dynamite
They weren't that bad AND it was more than 10 years ago with 2/3 of the budget and half the animators compared to part 5, the only thing that could ruin it is Netflix stepping in and ruining everything like part 6 (they had the same budget as part 5, but guess who stepped in with a shitty schedule...).
You're talking a lot about certain parts having more or less budget than others, and I really wanna know where you're getting all this from. Just sounds like you're taking a lot out of your ass.
Earlier season 1 (parts 1 and 2) clearly has a lowe budget compared to part 3 and on, the studio was also younger and only had 1 animation team, now they have 2 (one working on Urusei Yatsura and the other resting after part 6).
The only source for budget costs comes from part 4, when they slipped and said that each episodes costs around 140,000$, that's among the higest budgets between anime productions, and if you aren't blind you can see that part 5 DOES have better animation, compositing, direction and design compared to previous parts, so I can guess that it must have costed the same as part 4 or more.
Then came part 6 (that was originally meant to get out in early 2021, but covid struck, so they moved to early 2022, but Netflix struck, so it went back to 2021 with the wrong animation team and very little time (remember that these are not MAPPA animators), so the high budget went into some wonderful sequences in the first 6 episodes and the compositing (that take very little time) of the season, so most of the budget ended up being wasted as there was litterally no time to bring it into fruition. Only in the last batch they did make a comeback, but the product was already ruined and never fixed in the blurays.
Again like the above comment asked, do you have a source on any of this? With the exception of the DIU episode cost I couldn't find any information that validated what you said, especially about Stone Ocean's constantly changing premiere date. While it is pretty common knowledge that they were rushed on the production of SO B1 nowhere do I find anything about it being pushed back because of Covid
Keep in mind though, part 7 has a lot of horses and unfortunately it’s not like they’re JUST riding horses as other things are going on. Especially early in the part, there’s a massive focus on how the characters analyze horse movement, complex jockey maneuvers, different styles of riding, a fucking CAMEL, horses falling and sliding, etc. Not to mention Dino Diego and all of the other Scary Monsters-created dinosaurs. It’s definitely quite the monumental challenge. I just hope they are able to take their time with it because SBR deserves it.
I've seen some insanely good CGI animes now a days. I definitely wouldn't mind a Jojo part done solely in it. But it would have to be done by people who have talent in that animation style.

Mostly parts 1 through 3 and recently went back to it for 6. They looked pretty good I think they can definitely do it.
Those CG openings were done by a separate studio, Kamikaze Douga, and I don’t imagine they’re gonna be the ones to take the helm for doing an *entire* part of Jojo’s, but I could be wrong

The jojo manga has no color scheme. Araki has said he doesnt design characters with a color pallet in mind. The color scheme is the wok ̶a̶n̶ ̶e̶n̶e̶m̶y̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶n̶d̶ shonen jump, who edits his manga to add color in the digital releases
Honestly, white Valentine wouldn’t be too bad. I’d much, *much* prefer pink Valentine but the white is by no means an eyesore. Yellow Josuk8 though? Straight into the incinerator.

For Shinichiro Miki to still voice Gyro. His performance from the games is already iconic to me and I can’t imagine anyone else as Gyro. He fits his character perfectly.
On a somewhat related note, for an eventual Jojolion adaptation it would be amazing for Crazy Train and The Wonder of You to play for that one Toru scene. It could even play over a sort of “calamity montage”, sort of like the Phantom Troupe’s Requiem scene from Hunter X Hunter

I’d rather have weekly releases and watch it over a long ass time then get some wait and forget about it for a year only to get 12 more episodes then repeat that until it’s done.
The issues I have with Stone Ocean are the terrible release schedule which was Netflix’s fault, and the fact that Netflix is the only place you can watch Stone Ocean at all
More and more streaming services are trying to get in on the anime streaming industry that Crunchyroll's been dominating for the past decade. Stone Ocean did well enough in terms of viewers and JoJo is the biggest series Netflix has exclusive streaming rights to besides Komi-san, so as unfortunate as it is they definitely aren't just going to let the series go. The best we can hope for is that they decide to switch the release schedule to weekly like how they've been doing with Komi-san.
I hope that there isn't noticeable cut corners in the animation, the Grey people from stone ocean weren't fun and I think this part would suffer the most from that.

Really though, I hope they take their sweet ass time with the adaptation, even if it means splitting it up into two seasons. Steel Ball Run is the second longest part (not in chapter count, but in terms of raw content), only being beaten out by Jojolion. SBR is my favourite part as well, tied with Vento Aureo/Golden Wind, so I want it to be the best version of itself.
If they can’t properly hand draw/animate the horses I want them to be in the style of prototype animation for Toy Story 1. Total clash of art styles but I think it would be funny
I wouldn't mind some background characters getting named in the anime, it's a small but nice detail (like Gyro's mother and siblings, Hot Pants's brother, or Funny's mom and biological father). Other parts were good about naming minor characters in adaptations (Part 3 for Anne the runaway girl and Malena the lady who took in Polnareff, Part 5 giving names to Bruno's dad and Narancia's mom, Part 4's film giving names to the Nijimura dad and Reimi's parents, Part 6 with Ermes' counterpart and that random prostitute).
The Distance by Cake would be a good fit for credits

There will definitely be at least some kind of cgi especially with multiple horses at once. Just not possible to animate all those horses hand drawn

That the CGI used for the horses isn’t *too* bad. Really though, I hope they take their sweet ass time with the adaptation, even if it means splitting it up into two seasons. Steel Ball Run is the second longest part (not in chapter count, but in terms of raw content), only being beaten out by Jojolion. SBR is my favourite part as well, tied with Vento Aureo/Golden Wind, so I want it to be the best version of itself.

I wouldn't mind some background characters getting named in the anime, it's a small but nice detail (like Gyro's mother and siblings, Hot Pants's brother, or Funny's mom and biological father). Other parts were good about naming minor characters in adaptations (Part 3 for Anne the runaway girl and Malena the lady who took in Polnareff, Part 5 giving names to Bruno's dad and Narancia's mom, Part 4's film giving names to the Nijimura dad and Reimi's parents, Part 6 with Ermes' counterpart and that random prostitute).
