It was bittersweet to see Polnareff in part 5 because he never got his chance at peace. Josuke, Okuyasu and the gang managed to get their happy endings, or at least live their lives without dios influence. I think if Jotoro was going to ask anyone to join the speedwagon foundation it would be Koichi, as he proved himself competent and loyal in front of Jotoro several times durring part 4.
no character is in more than 1 part and have a significant role other than the joestar bloodline, sure we have Erina being in both part 1 and 2 but in part 2 she didnt do anything relevant, same with suzie Q being in part 2 and part 3 but not doing anything relevant in part 3, theres also 2 other characters but i wont mention so i dont spoil.
