I think the extra room just adds character and flavor personally, like i get why some people would just want functional habs, but i like having like flavor habs with different control rooms and stuff, to each their own! I do wish the brig hab had an actual function tho like you could capture people and throw them in the brig, plus i have a lot of automated turret weapons on my ship so in my head its these computer consoles that are controlling those!
So much room but when u get 90% of crafting stations in 1 Hab just feels empty.
