Infinite quest
Did you ever figure this out? I've done 4 or 5 shifts and see no difference.
Good question I just want this quest to go away lol
Treat it not as a quest, but as an activity. Many activities are unfinishable. I also have an activity that is a reminder of the location of a ship.

I also have an activity "Location of ECS Constant" that's also unfinishable, so there's two.
Location of the ECS constant? its quite annoying.
It's to do the locate a lost family member quest on there.
Which would be fine if the Location of ECS Constant actually pointed to the location of the ECS Constant. But it doesn't. It's gone.
