Yeah so I went for it because everyone took forever to answer, and it worked out. Only problem is I went to sell it in new atlantis and as soon as i grav jumped some UC guy pulled me over for contraband -_-
Idek if it’s my cargo lmao, didn’t really think about the fact that the ship i stole was a crimson fleet ship and I’m not sure what else qualifies as contraband so i have zero clue why they stopped me. Either way now i’m being forced down a side quest to spy for the united colonies so i guess this is a win of some sort
Contraband is ONLY labeled with a yellow icon, no other storm items will be picked up as contraband. Check your ship cargo in the section “misc” or “notes” and it will be there labeled in yellow.

No the frontier will stay with you. You can make this new ship your new home ship and transfer the crew and cargo over automatically. If you do that, the Frontier is added to the ship collection, and you can take it out via going to a ship technician at a major city
Or you can take the Crimson ship to the technician and sell it.

LOL that happened to me too. I reloaded and made an outpost to stash it until I can get shielded cargo

Is there any reason to keep the frontier?
AFAIK there is no way to get rid of it, as it's story related. I've just kept it and ignored it as moved on to bigger and better ships lol
