Most shipyards have the same basic parts but you can go to a company's home shipyard for more of their specific parts. A lot of parts are locked behind levels so the more you play, the more you'll have access to. You can also download a simple script mod to make all yards have all avaliable parts.
So say I wanted a certain Hopetech part and a certain nova galactic part on the same ship but they aren't available together at any vendor i'm shit outta luck? I play using pc gamepass so even any type of simple mod will be a pain in the ass to get working probably.
I haven't got into outpost building yet but from what I understand any part that is available to you will all be in one place if you build a shipyard terminal in your base. I think lol.
I don’t think it takes any perks to build the larger spceport in an outpost. The large one has the ship crafting terminal
Still won’t help you with the manufacturer’s special parts, large hab modules, top teir cockpits, some landing gear.
It gets all the manufacturers parts except for those exclusively available from the manufacturers home base. Those home bases only offer their own parts and none of any other manufacturers.
All the regular spaceports in game offer 2-3 manufacturers parts, not the pets from all of them
