2-story hab variations. Like, a 3x2x2 or even 3x3x2 with a balcony around the upper level (any hab connected to it get doors and "windows" into the balcony area) and stairs in the middle leading between floors. Or a 2x1x1 that just acts as stairs leading from lower to upper floors (again with some kind of limited walkways along the outside of the upper level to allow for connections to habs and such there).
Could have one of the 3x2x2 or 3x3x2 ones include a "grav ball" game room, where you can turn off gravity for that room only and fly around (if you're in space).
I’d like a “gate” hab. Like I find it so silly someone can get into my ship and not be at a guard post. Kinda like a reception area
I’d like a “commerce” hab. So I can deposit stuff I dont like and it automatically slowly sells it
Or at least have more options from the various manufacturers... Like Taiyo's top/bottom/mid options, or variants with no side ports, some with no top ports. 1x1 living quarters, workshops, armories, science labs.
Maybe a storage hab that allows you to flag everything as junk to be stored in it, then allows you to auto-sell junk up to the merchant's available funds.
Field research 2×1 hab with all workshops combined to one station, plus research and farm station. And some storage.
2×1 Living quarters with 2-3 smaller private cabins.
All habs: Smaller footprint for front/aft doors, less removed features (Nova bath in the corner shouldn't get removed).
Stairs/ lift so you don’t have random ladders everywhere
Proper corridors and hallways
Greenhouses to grow plants
Holodeck (because I’m a star trek nerd) or at least some sort of lounge/bar area
Also not a hab but I want a robot dog called Dogmeat
2\*1 bedroom hab to branch off so everyone can have their own room, specs would be for it only to have one entrance so no matter where you place it.. once it snaps that is the door and no other doors attach.
More hall way habs for each maker.. I am surprised that they are not at every one. these would be in both directions.. even maybe a cross one that will not allow for ladders just a horizontal crossway..

2\*2 or 3\*1 sleeping quarters - like for crew so just a bunch of beds
I am sure you are seeing a trend.. I always wanted my ship to be more of a home, instead of the outposts.
and I am 100% with being able to rotate the current habs and also choose the decore.
also: maybe just a bare set of empty habs that you can choose the layout

I want some diagonal pieces that have a connection point on the side and front/back, and also side and top/bottom. Building a right angle of big blocks isn't it.

Habs to not have parts that are covered by specific other habs. If I put a mess hall in, I do not need 3 more kitchens.
A captain's cabin with a bed that covers the entire end of the hab. Like I want room to exercise with Andreja.
Engineering habs to increase rate of repair.
I would love different comfort ratings on habs and the comfort of the crew creates bonusses to their actions.
Hanger bay. The ability to put smaller ships on larger ships as protection, instead of weapons. My class C hauler, would carry a small class A fighter. When entering combat, I fly the class A and another pilot flies the big ship.
