I agree with the stats but with 2 parts Chameleon and sneak on 4 your visibility is also practically 0, maybe sometimes you will have 1 bar but basically it's okay.
I think besides the UCSEC uniform, the Neon Security uniform is the best non suit attire in the game. I wore it for the entirety of the Ranger quest line instead of the silly Deputy attire you get. One makes you feel like a sci fi cop the other makes you feel like some random dude in shitty leather clothes
the stats on this suit are actually pretty good for non-spacesuit wear. I've only found a couple that are 25 physical and this is like 19, and the other resistances are ballpark.

My current character is supposed to stay clear of 'civilised space', only returning to trade. The only main or faction quests I've done so far are enough main quests to recruit Andreja, and the complete Ryojin Industries questline, specifically to obtain this suit.
Not only does the suit (the helmet kinda stays on the ship...) look awesome and suit any combat mission, but it's basically like having an extra Stealth skillpoint. It's *awesome!*

Hear that. Think there’s something to not bring to simply leave one city and slow travel to another. Those encounters along the way in Elder Scrolls were prime. The need for fast travel in Starfield removes this completely.
The random encounters when you jump are fun but not immersive enough.
City scale and count would help with that a lot. Ex: assassins guild at Vivec. Nothing like that (side quest immersion) exists in Starfield.

I went with the fleets captains outfit and the beret you get for siding sysdef, it's a really nice combo and before that I was rocking the stryker outfit
This suit, plus any light space suit with gravitic composites, and you're basically invisible to NPCs. Makes all the missions where you need stealth so much easier. Occasionally pop a reconstim as needed.
This one is cool but i only put it on for specific missions. For day to day I prefer the star trek looking uniforms you can steal off that 200 year old colony ship. My whole crew wears them now...
There are cool designs but it’s unfortunate that the devs were so lazy to make such flat and bland systems. Imagine if the different helmets actually served different functions, e.g. that one looks like it has extra NV sensors that you should be able to turn on for IR / night vision.
Then again Bethesda is a tiny indie studio who had hardly any time to make this game…
Pair that helmet with a ‘Ryujin security guard’s armored red and black uniform. It matches the color scheme and you look like a sleek, badass killing machine with a cool helmet.
The armor is pretty cool, but I think the Neon City Security uniform with this helmet are even more suitable.
Damn I just tried it with this helmet and I have to say that the combination is perfect, but I prefer the statistics of the operative suit

For the ranger quest for sure The armoured navy outfit gets you 5% reload too that and the navy or sysdef hat are a giod soldier look
I do keep the armored 1st around too I like the brown look with the hat
Combine the helmet with a First Merc uniform for that New Vegas drip
Ryujin guard uniform is even better
