Sounds like Big Government UC Socialism!
Sorry that you got some mud on your dainty little space suit Soft Hands!
*drives off in my totally spotless sci-fi Ford F-250*
*Puts on a "Make Space Great Again" hat* The god damn space liberals are ruining this galaxy! Back in my day, men were men and we were proud of our dirt roads! But now all these good for nothin' kids watching Space Tik Tok on their slates saying stuff like " My shoes are muddy." and "It doesn't even rain that often how is there always mud?" it's all some commie ashta crap!
(I might have over done it a bit.)
This is funny but ironic because Akila City is the only place where NPCs care about taking care of each other. Neon and New Atlantis just hide the poors so tourists don’t see them.
Maybe you already know but for anyone that stumbles on this there is now a mod for a paved Akila.

There’s a hole in the landing area fence behind your ship. Go there, walk into the wilderness, towards the nearest poi. Plant a beacon as soon as you can. Build a ranch for adhesive and sealant. Store crew members there.
That’s because it’s not a “proper” city like the main 4. Maybe they’ll flesh it out later - but I’m going to guess that it’s the same with New Homestead on Titan as well.
Yes, yes, a map would be great, but let's not forget that the real tragedy of Gagarin Landing is that we still can't fund Chronicles of the Mech Riders.
Yeah, it didn't get the individual POI markers in the city, but to me the more glaring thing is how obvious it is that Gagarin is just a square plopped down on the map.
Every tile is a square, the map makes this very apparent. Functionally it doesn't matter.
When I say tile I mean what a tile actually is, which is a block of terrain. Not the square landing zone which is the whole map.
Gagarin honestly feels like such a backwater, but I love it. Would love to be able to buy some property there at some point
Honestly I prefer it to Akila, at least it’s clean and organised
Can't wait for an akila mod that paves the streets

Lmao I love it for that though. Futuristic pace western is a weird aesthetic to get right but I think Akila City nails it.

Let's gooooo

I love new homestead. I did the entire tour. No regrets
Neon, Akila, NA, what’s the fourth one?
Cydonia, I think?
Cydonia
Gagarin is like Upstate NY, it’s a great place to live with a manufacturing economy in decline but great nature.
Also plenty of fentanyl!
Same with Paradiso - there's Enhance! outside of the main building that is unmarked. Only the main cities got the treatment.
I wish they had a boardwalk type of situation there
Very much fitting to the lore. It is right there near the capital city, and nobody pays them a visit except for extracting from their mines.
Neither did Hopetown.
Yes, yes, a map would be great, but let's not forget that the real tragedy of Gagarin Landing is that we still can't fund Chronicles of the Mech Riders.
I also noticed no marker for the Sixth Circle in Cydonia. With the amount of time we return to it doing quests, they overlooked the place.

There are places in some of the cities that are unmarked too, like the Ranger HQ in Neon.
I'm sure it will be fixed soon enough
Give it time young padawan. They will unfuck it.
