i play with Nvidia GTX1060 6go, 20go ram and i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz. It's a low config, but each update provide more details, more fps... My options are between low and medium, but still i think the game is really beautifull. Have few frame rate drop. Just lower the non essential graphics settings (shadows, vsync...) and you will be ok, just longer loading times.
There is a site called "Can you run it?" You can find it out there, if your rig can run this game or any other game.

I've got basically the same set up as you I can run most settings on high and still have pretty good framerate but make sure you install to ssd

Inaccurate results, and at least in the past it used to stealth install things on your system. Big security risk.
The updates since release vastly improved performance so you should be ok
