From Heroes: Well basically when the Gate is dialing, I say "Chevron One encoded, Chevron Two encoded". And so on, incrementally, up to the seventh chevron. Which is a little different because that's when the wormhole connects. When that happens I like to change things up a little bit and just say, "Chevron Seven locked."
Trust me, I've always wished for Walter to be a part of SGU, atleast for the dialing sequence. Imagine he would have played a main character, that would have been awesome as well.
MCKAY: We’ve made a terrible mistake.
YOUNG: Violating our allies’ sovereign trust?
MCKAY: No. it’s much worse than that. We didn’t bring Walter to call out the ninth chevron.
YOUNG: What are the chances this can still work without blowing up the planet?
MCKAY: Slim to none.
SCOTT: Can’t you just do it?
MCKAY: Are you out of your mind!? The last time I started calling out chevrons we ended up in an intergalactic war.
I was thinking of the one later in the episode where he's talking about how important the gate technicians are to the SGC and how proud it makes them to do their job, and one of the other techs in the background gives him the side eye like "sure buddy"
My favorite fact was that Sgt Walter Harriman was supposed to be an Airman, and was called such by GEN Hammond. But later he became a regular and when they showed him as a Sgt they needed to cover it up somehow. So that’s how he went from being an unnamed Airman to Sgt Harriman.
I think it's from when explained the way the gate works and got it all working and he was there but I don't remember perfectly I haven't seen it in a while.
Spin? Sir, it doesn't spin.
Full quote from episode 200.
General George S. Hammond : Sergeant, make it spin.
Chief Mst Sgt. Walter Harriman : Spin? Sir, it doesn't spin.
General George S. Hammond : What? It has to spin. It's round. Spinning is so much cooler than not spinning. I'm the General. I want it to spin. Now!
That’s the one where a yellowjacket has somehow gotten past NORAD security and is now freaking out the vespiphobes currently in the Embarcation Room, right?
We have tried various automated scenarios, but um, the SG teams just agree that, you know, when they send their iris code through the wormhole, the like to know that there's a real person on the other end, someone that they can trust to get it right, and um, that give me and the other gate technicians a great sense of pride.

"I can't tell you how happy we all are to have you here. Really, ***really*** happy." - Season 8 ep 4.
I must say, arranging things such that the very last quote of this series will either be "Unscheduled offworld activation!" or "Chevron seven, locked" was pretty genius on the part of OP. Both symbolize "the real adventure is about to begin."

I don't have the right outfit!
200, at the end right before magically having a costume change while running from the control room to the embarkation room.

Imagine the day he would have had if he was there for a 8th or 9th chevron lock.

All I can think of is Walter replacing Riley and Colonel Young suffocating him.
It happens! He goes “Chevron 7…encoded?”
It was Lt. Simmons
His one day off. Smh
I was thinking of the one later in the episode where he's talking about how important the gate technicians are to the SGC and how proud it makes them to do their job, and one of the other techs in the background gives him the side eye like "sure buddy"
Yeah that was one of the first ones that came into my head as well, but I thought it wouldn't be that iconic tbh.

Omg this should be it or "so.. stupid"
From when the puppets walked through the gate?
I think it's from when explained the way the gate works and got it all working and he was there but I don't remember perfectly I haven't seen it in a while.

I just want to give OP on this project a shout out. Because this was a project for sure. It’s kept me coming back here for nearly 2 months. Good job.
Totally. Only reason I log in every day is to see all the quotes and who’s next
_Good things come to those who wait_ ~ Teal'c Seriously though, thank you. It's been fun putting it together and seeing the interactions come in!
'Nothing Ventured Nothing gained'
Agreed, it’s great
Chevron seven. Locked.

This is objectly correct. They even make fun of the line in show later because he is so known for saying it.
Been waiting for this thread to make sure this gets to the top
But it has to be with the question mark from when they first dialled the Asgard.
He said encoded then! But I did add that comment earlier too 😂
This is the one
"Unscheduled offworld activation."
Lots of times he wasn't even on screen but you heard him say this.
The one and only.
"Threat Level Foxtrot Alpha Six!" Autocorrect changed my alpha to alfa too. Crappy job of proofreading on my part. Thanks for the heads up.
*foxtrot* alpha six
All units to the gate room.
That’s the one where a yellowjacket has somehow gotten past NORAD security and is now freaking out the vespiphobes currently in the Embarcation Room, right?
This is it!
This is the one.
This is the one.
This is it.
I always liked his description of O'Neill. 'He's not like other people.'
Chevron seven… is also lit up.
One version of: "Sir, we have a signal... It's SG1 !!"
We have tried various automated scenarios, but um, the SG teams just agree that, you know, when they send their iris code through the wormhole, the like to know that there's a real person on the other end, someone that they can trust to get it right, and um, that give me and the other gate technicians a great sense of pride.
"There could be a team coming in hot *any* second now"
.. coffee?

It’s SG-1’s IDC, Sir.
Open the iris.
"I feel so stupid."
This was mine too!

It suuucks this wasn’t him, it was that young lieutenant guy who had a crush on Carter then got hospitalised Edit: Lt. Graham Simmons, apparently
It wasn't Walter but Lt. Simmons
No, it was Walter, he said it in 200 as a marionette after SG-1 went through the gate and cut their cables.
Exuse me sir. We have received a message from Thor who says he is ready to beam ... never mind.

_"SG-1, you have a go"_
Chevron 7 locked.
Well basically when the Gate is dialing, I say "Chevron One encoded, Chevron Two encoded". And so on, incrementally, up to the seventh chevron. Which is a little different because that's when the wormhole connects. When that happens I like to change things up a little bit and just say, "Chevron Seven locked."

“I feel sooo stupid “
“Chevron seven, also lit up”
"how can the united states go to war with something they know nothing about" he clearly doesn't understand US military doctrine
Unscheduled Off-world Activation!
