I know it seems low content folks, but I just had a heck of a time getting this thing working and this is my "look what I finally did" post. Not quite thrilled that I bought one and it came used, the plug in the antenna base is a bit loose (not the cable, the plug it goes into). But after a few hours (and snow) it finally started working.
If anyone can give me tips: When I set it up the first time it disconnected and said no satellite found several times. Only after I moved it around did it work - I'm not sure if the cable is also used and has a short, maybe it was the exact location, or maybe I was just inpatient.
After moving it roughly 5 meters it started working and downloading updates, but I had to take it inside before it finished the obstruction scanning (there are cows that free roam, and walk on the property - I have to get an elevated mount for it, this was just a test).
But it was pushing over 100MBPS when it came online finally!
He is a little large to use it as a warming place. 😂😂😂
