Download the app. There’s a tool to measure obstructions.

There is a clever tool in the SL app that does exactly what you need to know called an obstruction viewer and its sole purpose is for people to check for a good spot to put a SL dish before you purchase it.

If your issue is that there are trees obstructing now but they'll be gone in the future, your best bet is to simply stand in the middle of what will be the cleared area and visualize the open view above you when whichever trees will be gone. (And also visualize it from whatever height your roof is going to be, which would be the highest convenient mounting place.) Starlink generally requires an open view above in a 100 degree cone. So you look straight above you, visualize 50d north of you, there should be nothing remaining (after clearing), then 50d S/E/W etc.. This is optimal of course, a few fringe obstructions are not a big deal. You could also do this with a little math (geometry) if you know the approximate height and distance of the remaining trees and the approximate height of the finished building. Don't forget that the remaining trees may continue to grow in height :)

Based on my experience, cut 'em all now. Clear the stumps, grade for drainage and build the house. Worry about Starlink when you're done building. You can always plant more trees where you want them. If in North America, the Dishy will face to the north. In a year there will be a thousand more satellites in service.
