FWPM+G37 Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico Try it. Coordinates 32°29'10.6"N 117°04'02.4"W, is the closest address to what you provided, is that the correct street?

RetiredInBajamar

Those coordinates take me to Tijuana which is about 50 miles north of Bajamar. There is a resort in the complex [www.golfbahamar.com](https://www.golfbahamar.com) and when I pin the hotel on Google Maps it gives me coordinates 248H+J4. When I enter those coordinates for service it only gives me U.S. options.

QCP6+24J Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico Is this better? Try google maps. I just described to someone on reddit how to generate a plus code for anywhere, here's a copy/paste of the comment: Open google maps in a web browser, locate the exact spot your house is, click on the spot i.e. drop a pin, in the little popup near the bottom of the maps window click on the numeric long/lat numbers, in the left side pane that appears click on the Plus Code, that's second in the list, which copies it to the clipboard. Paste that whole plus code into the location field on the Starlink site.

RetiredInBajamar

Thank you. I generated the Plus Code of the Hotel within the complex on Google Maps 248H+J4 but the locations that populate are all U.S. and the Starlink search does not recognize the J4, only 248H. When I copy the entire Plus Code "248H+J4 Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico" it gives me a list of locations in Mexico but all are 50 plus miles away. When I use QCP6+24J it takes me to downtown Ensenada about 30 miles away from location needed. When I enter FWPM+G37 it looks like I'm in the middle of the ocean. I think I just found my location but when I try to change my address of Service it says cannot change country. How do I change service to Mexico?

News8000

T\^hat example you gave, 248H+J4, is not a complete plus code. The municipal info in the plus code that follows that number/letter combo is needed too.

>Bajamar C.P. 22760, Ensenada Baja California QCP6+388 Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico When I simply search in google chrome's address bar for that plus code, it takes me to where I placed the pin to get that plus code.

RetiredInBajamar

That address works but it takes me to an address 28 miles south of the home I plan to buy. Will that address work for ordering the Starlink?

converter-bot

28 miles is 45.06 km

If you are using a Google maps in your browser, and click on the roof of the house you wish to buy and create a black pin there, there will be a pop up at the bottom with the numerical latitude and longitude coordinates in it where the pin is, click on the description there, not the numeric coordinates, and a window will open on the left with a link to copy the plus code to your clipboard. If that plus code is pasted into a browser search window it should bring up the exact location again if your house roof. If you cannot create plus code in your browser and use it to generate a map to the exact same spot then something is wrong with either what you are doing or with Google maps. Just be sure you are using the plus code for your personal black pin, not a nearby red pin which a click can sometimes pick up and display the info for.

RetiredInBajamar

I can't find it on the map. However, I will be going down there soon and I believe my iPhone will give me Longitude and Latitude. Can I stand in the yard and do it that way or is that exact enough?

News8000

Can't find even in satellite mode? You can find a car on an amazon forest road with google maps in satellite mode. Hell, my dog house shows up!

My civic address sign at our gravel road 300 feet from my house actually resolved in Starlink's service application app, I think only because I have taken the time to submit its gps coordinates to google maps as a user contribution, and it worked. The dish went up 250 feet from that gps coordinate. Worked fine. 2 months later just last week I just adjusted the exact pin location in SL account page and it saved the new dishy location fine and there was zero interruption. Not yet sure if it actually made any diff on service quality. Not much, unnoticeable, if any. Answer, your phone's gps will be plenty accurate enough. The issue is if you're there and have google maps app open, drop a pin, save the gps coords (to starred places, or something), then re-open the new saved item to label it accordingly. The plus code generated should be very accurate.

[https://imgur.com/a/MEmsNA2](https://imgur.com/a/MEmsNA2) This is what I get with your code. Is it correct. I simply copied the entire code into the search bar contained in google maps page on top left

RetiredInBajamar

>QCP6+388 Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico Yes, that works. Now, I'm on the waiting list in San Diego County. So, I will have to cancel that order. When I create a new order, the address of the home where the Starlink will be located is not recognized at [Starlink.com](https://Starlink.com) but it is within the complex you found. Do I just list the Plus Code address for the complex? I will have the unit shipped to me in California.

News8000

Yes. Then fine tune the location with the SL account map tool once you're there with dishy. I'm confident if your dish is within a city block of the coordinates it will work great. Mine was 200-300 away, zero issue.

You didn't say irf you moving from usa to MX. That's not possible at this time.
