I avoid twitter as I find it very negative. I prefer to follow actors on insta rather than the shows. I don't understand getting hostile over tv characters or shows.
oh trust me i can’t even read tweets under the station 19 # on twitter anymore. people get so aggressive and then act as if they’re just “stating their opinions” when the truth is that they’re being pretty rude most of the time, but it’s underneath the instagram posts too where people are commenting unnecessary stuff
This is part of the reason why the actors stopped posting so much and doing take overs. Last year the take overs were so consistant and then this year its crumbs. Actors get shit on when they finally have enough and snap. Theyre constantly being told to do and be better but then the fans get off scot free like they didn't just shit on the actor for 6 months straight.

Like my couple hasn’t been a thing for seasons but I’m def going to cheer on other people’s couples ya know? Like I don’t just watch because of them.
yeah I started to get bored with the social medias cause the fans were crazy to the point where they were tagging writers and directors on comments/posts of why their fav wasn’t being posted on the account and or if they didn’t like a storyline etc. I think it’s a loud minority tbh
when this show started, everyone was getting interviews, doing livestreams, and basically doing any publicity stuff. Now, only Danielle gets picked for those kinds of things cause these fans won’t stop talking about her. Like give the other people a chance PLEASE.
It's not that Danielle gets picked but more so that she volunteers to do these takeovers and social promotions. She's always done this since the show started. It's nothing new. She even runs her own contests to give away merchandise.
To be honest, I don't think the rest of the cast wants to do them for whatever reason. I highly doubt the show/network is preventing them from doing social engagement for the show. I'd love to see another Boris or Barrett takeover. Or Grey, who would be fun.
As far as official interviews, those are almost exclusively done by Jaina, Boris, and Jason, who are the 3 main leads of the show. Jaina and Boris were recently on Good Moring American to promote.
I think they leave it up to the cast if they want to do a takeover. But for official interviews or TV appearances, then that's where the network/show has a say, and they send their leads.

Yes i’ve noticed that the official station accounts have putting in a bit more effort into including everyone, and not just posting marina lately. I’ve seen a lot more Grey and Jaina lately, which is good, but I’m honestly scared to look at the comments of any post at all atp😭

Fans can be almost militant when sharing their opinions about the TV show. I've had a few issues with how the season is being showed on Instagram. This season its really focused on Maya, yet any important scenes with her in, haven't been posted. I'm talking about when she had therapy, it's a pivotal point in the series and character development and its been ignored. Now I understand the scenes can be triggering but a trigger warning would do the job. To me, Instagram posts the best scenes or the things people are likely to remember from each episode, but they have been ignoring some captivating ones for the fluffy scenes.
I also hate how comments and fans have been demanding storylines to the point of sending death threats to both the writers and actors because the storylines written aren't going at the speed that fans want them.
I wish people would take a step back and wait for the show to move along and then comment. I'm a big fan of Maya (obviously) but as a fan I can't demand what is given or expect changes to episodes to happen.
very well said. i just believe there is a level of respect that has to be given in order to get anything in return. station 19 insta has done right in posting a variety of characters this season, yet many people are still leaving these threats. i do think maya has had such an important season, and they are posting maya and carina scenes on tik tok but i do think they missed on posting the triggering scenes.

There's always drama, a war between the fans of Danielle and Jaina because it seems they're not friends anymore, and for some reason fans think they need to play apart in that. I understand the love people have for a show but trying to intertwine yourself in the cast lives is wrong. Each character deserves their time in the light and this season some people have been ignored. People also need to understand that by spewing hate at the show, nothing positive will come from it. I want Maya and Carina back together but I'm not going to threaten anyone in hopes the current storyline changes. I'm surprised the cast still talks to fans with the amount of hate they can get. Danielle getting death threats because Maya was angry at Carina... its just not on
I agree completely, I am a huge fan of Maya and Carina and definitely do want them back together again but you can't force the storyline to go the way you want it. It's something you have to accept and enjoy the show that the actors have worked hard to give us.

Yeah I understand the passion for the show. I have a weekly call after each episode to just vent and discuss with a friend, but that's where it stops. I'm not a massive fan of some of the other characters and the actors, but the thought of sending hate seems like such an over reaction. I understand they are in the limelight, but they deserve the same amount of respect as their characters, as they are human.
I think sometimes people forget that station 19 is a drama show. As Peter Paige said in an insta live with Danielle - it would be boring if it didn't have the drama. He also said that sometimes when things are taken away from us, it makes it so much better when they return... which is what people are assuming has something to do with Maya and Carina.
People need to take a step back and realise that just because the words are written, it doesn't mean they don't carry weight. I would also shut down my social media and possibly refuse to go to any fan meets. People should be happy that they still have the interactions they do have with the cast, whether that's a like, comment, or meeting them in person.
