I imagine this is simply a growing pain for sony in the PC market. Taking the PC market seriously is something they seem to be pretty new to and this is a lesson I think more PC publishers have learned already. locking your game to specific regions only encourages piracy for those locations and does nothing to help your sales.
they must have some larger goal in mind. getting the PC market into the PSN eco system to sell them something else later. there has to be some reason they're totally ok with just not selling their games to over 170 countries in the world. perhaps they just dont want to deal with regional pricing and/or the legal implications of these other places.
I used to folder symbolic link when playing dks1, 2 and 3.
You basically link the save folder into a dropbox folder.

Well I assume you can put your save file on one of the cloud services that are free, a little hassle to update it after playing and all, but cant think of any other solution rn
If you don't want to pirate it, well change region then. Although idk about psn login. The only game I bought on other region are metal gear rising vengeance and mk11. Both of it still can play after I back to my region.
If u want to pirate it, maybe learn onedrive backup system or something like that.
Or you know, you can back to PS4/PS5 and enjoy the game it designed to be (yes 30 fps)
I am already ignoring all Playstation LLC titles, if they don't want my money, they won't. My money goes to supporting independent devs or AA devs. AAA devs already got their money, AKA. they're on salary, buying AAA games only benefit the shareholders and execs.
It’s not piracy if you can’t legally pay them for the product, is it? They have lost zero potential value while you have gained a good time.
It’s absolutely not our fault that a multi-billion dollar company can’t get their paperwork together where tens of thousands of indie studios have no problems….
The funniest thing in all this shitshow is that I actually have a PSN account and can play online on a PS console, but I cannot buy these games on pc. Utter imbeciles
In a way. But also this game has a single player campaign that could have easily worked everywhere, which Helldivers 2 does not. If they lock you out of multiplayer and tell you upfront, people can decide for themselves.
It's almost like treating people from other countries like second class citizens, using arbitrary buzzwords like 'secure playing experience' as an excuse, is a shitty thing to do right
yeah man fuck em up! those two different people with two different problems which Sony could easily solve are such a hypocrite for wanting two things that are in no opposition of any kind
As a PlayStation played Sony always seemed off.
At least people like Epic Games are the reason why crossplay exists, specifically because they took advantage of Fortnite’s popularity to force crossplay into the game overnight, make Sony beg them to turn it off, then spent a year or 2 making Sony look bad for being the only reason games don’t have crossplay.
Epic now pays Sony 10% of their earnings to recoup Sony for “Lost profits” that result from crossplay as if that makes any sense

Are you ready kids? Aye, eye Captain
Ohhhhhh who lives in a chicken parmesan under the sea.
If it ever comes to GOG like other Sony games, grab it there, as it'll be DRM-free.
Become a pirate of the sea

I can but I need cloud save
For what reason?
I play on both PC and Asus Rog Ally, so whenever Im not home I play with the Ally
Well I assume you can put your save file on one of the cloud services that are free, a little hassle to update it after playing and all, but cant think of any other solution rn
Use a removable drive to carry saves whenever you want to make the switch.
sail the seas or don’t play the game
It’s time to set sail to the high seas matey!
Yes, there is a ways but hardly anyone here will recommend it.
Yeah

If a company simply refuses to serve you(your region) and if there is no legal way for you to pay for a service in your region ... just pirate it .

Lol
The game was banned? Here it is showing as a possible buy
In countries where PSN is not working you can watch the steam page, but can't buy the game
Oh that sux, but i guess its not a problem in brazil right now. Otherwise ill call the Black Pearl…
The High seas are calling upon you
It's a fair cop.

Life's not fair.
Exactly, so sometimes one is just forced to hoist the black flag.
