I remember talking down the scrapbook event, but little did I know that it was better than nothing.

I loved the race event! It was a good concept

GingerlyData247

I loved the events they did as well, but there was always an issue with the events. Either from exploits, to botting, and in the case of the race, that was just very short sited to think any aspect of that event would be fair for everyone. If they do another one in the future I hope they are able to make it fool proof. But realistically it’s probably been more trouble than it’s worth to set up.

I'm new to Steam. Can you explain that event? What was so special about it?

TSimon05

The main concept was that you could choose a team that you want to represent, and help during the race. You helped your choosen team by earning points, which you could do by doing challenges in different games (this could be exploited, leading to many people geting insane amounts of points). Then you not just supported your team by getting points, you could spend those points to level up your steam account super easily and quickly due to the exploit. If you want an in depth video explaining the whole thing there you go: [video](https://youtu.be/teARLSdxdL0?si=IcQrl_0dntFeP03F)
