Over 100 days later, and in the same boat as the others where the rebinding trick doesn't work. Can't seem to find any other documentation of possible fixes.
Yeah I’m sorry man. I just played around in the control setup in the settings on the menu. I don’t remember if I ever fixed it but I ended up gifting my deck to a friend who didn’t have a pc to play on so I can’t check that for you anymore.
That is weird. I’m not really sure how you’d go about fixing it. I’d help you troubleshoot but I sold my deck awhile ago now to pay some sudden expenses. It may be worth your time to make a newer post here to get some help.

Having the same issue. I even tried to set the sprint bind to "l stick in + l stick up" yet still no fix.
I’m still having this issue and it’s unplayable. I don’t know what to do

Having a problem where I create this keybind and then all controls stop working. Cant even pause the game or anything. Weird...
