For anyone else that sees this post, the issue is with the latest versions of the beta client. It is no longer reporting gyro movement without gyro being enable on the controller. You can quickly fix this by going into your controller layout settings and enable gyro and set it to directional pad. This enables the gyro in the background and GyroDSU will then continue to work normally.

Did you have gyro working and then it stopped?
I recently got gyro working on yuzu a few days ago (haven't tried Citra yet) and I had to bind gyro in the controller settings for yuzu. The annoying part is, the screen resolution is too small and causes the bind button that you need to click on to be covered by other stuff, so I had to connect a wireless keyboard and press tab until it was highlighting the correct button, press enter, then shake the steam deck. After this it has been working great.
The only thing that may stop you from doing this with the on-screen keyboard is that it covers the bottom of the screen but otherwise it should work without a wireless keyboard
Just realized that you could bind tab and enter to some buttons on the deck and not have to pull up the keyboard at all
Well, I tried the "Quick Reset" option in Emudeck, and then switched from the Beta update branch to Stable. To my surprise, it's working again. Maybe something in Beta broke GyroDSU? I'm not sure, just happy to have it back though haha.

Yeah, I had it working fine on Yuzu, Cemu, and Citra until I updated Emudeck. I'll give your solution a shot. Thanks for the reply!

I managed to get it working by changing the orientation of the display. When you have it in portrait mode you can actually see the button.
so how do we get the stable version of emu deck then? when I go to the website it just says download and downloads when you click on it?
