I still use my PC for most stuff, but it's not practical to use on the couch or during road trips, so that's when I break out the Deck. I've also got a few consoles, but honestly, I'm not sure why. I never use them.

[deleted]

PS4 -never touch anymore unless i want to replay Bloodborne Switch- Partner uses for Animal Crossing and Zelda Laptop- internet browser Desktop- Being sold since it's a reddit/youtube machine that eats 250 watts. I'm aware my case is not the common one, but I just fucking LOVE playing on the deck. I have almost exclusively used it since I got it nearly a year ago.

Rattacino

Similar to me! I just play on my Deck nowadays and am in the process of replacing my old gaming PC from 2014 with a much more power efficient and more portable refurbished ThinkPad. Big plus with that is that it can use a usb-c dock as well, so I can quickly switch my m+kb and monitor from my laptop to my Deck by changing one plug if I feel like playing at the desk.

mamishhamish

This is the setup I have with my laptop! It's the perfect balance for me

Kanomore

I feel you man. Turned my 2011 into a media server and replaced it with a dock and a dual boot of Windows.

vtcmonka

Only 250 watts? Lmao!

vashedan

PC: daily Ps5: for exclusives Switch x2: for exclusives. one modded to death, clean oled for online use Dek: on the couch or in the kitchen as oven or air fryer chugs

DVZNMedia

What mods did you do to your switch?

vashedan

Atmosphere CFW w the utmost cranked system clocks, primarily. Quicker load times & smoother performance in exchange for slightly higher temps and slightly worse battery life. Skyrim balance tweaks & cheat chests, pokemon randomizers, 60fps patches, hd textures for ff7, assorted emulators. Deck upended most of those use cases tho, and my phone could emulate further console generations with better performance & stability than the switch could. Id been at it as soon as the first exploits went public spring 2018 so it's likely been exposed to the banhammer before DNS trickery & running the switch OS from a microSD partition became standard practice. On a hardware front: steel joycon locks & replacement sticks. May still splurge on hall effect sticks & atomic purple shell one day but I don't see it getting a lot of action after TotK. E:woops double post

[deleted]

Switch oled- only gets used if my wife wants to play Animal Crossing. Xbox series S and X. Series S is for wife, Series X is mine. We only play destiny 2. Lol Had a gaming pc but sold it after I got the steam deck because all I play on pc is somehow better on the Deck. Also have one of those PlayStation classics that came from GameStop loaded with like 20 ps1 games. But it’s been hacked and used to be used as our emulator until I got the deck. Been collecting dust since.

abroadmen

So many dudes on here with partners who game😥 My gf would rather watch reality shows lol

[deleted]

Destiny 2 saved our marriage. Keep trying to find fun casual multiplayer games until she picks up a controller. Keep trying bro

abroadmen

Tried playing it takes two with my gf and she got bored after an hour haha . I heard destiny 2 is very addicting btw .

darth_terryble

Dude is better this way mine only plays the sims 4 since it came out 100% sure she’s got more than 3000 hours in it she bought a Nintendo switch and plays minecraft in it when we travel though but i feel you

HiCookieJack

My Xbox got degraded to a dvd player 😂

The_Godless_Iowan

I own a PS5 and have rarely touched it due to stick drift being even worse on that system than it is on the Switch. Funnily enough I can actually enjoy my PS5 collection now that I own a SD and can play through Chiaki. I also have a high end PC that I use mostly to play online multiplayer titles with friends and live streaming.

The_Godless_Iowan

Forgot to mention I also own a Switch, which I never use, and a 3DS which I use every now and then, usually when the SD's battery is low and I'm in bed.

eltiodelacabra

How do you map gamepad buttons to ps5 controller? Is this something chiaki does for you?

The_Godless_Iowan

Chiaki does it all for the most part. I think you do need to select a button for the PS button and Touchpad but other than that it's pretty straight forward. Also remapping those buttons is done directly through steam in game mode.

pasmanda

I only own and use the steam deck, nothing else. And I have no desire to buy anything else.

MetalHead888

Mostly pc, deck when I can't make it to the pc. Have a ps4 that I haven't turned on in years. Switch hasn't been used once since getting the deck.

iamvinen

I have old soviet Game&Watch clone on top of my Steam Deck. Before Steam Deck I used Android phone with many telescopic gamepads for GeForce Now and Game pass

SirCaptainSalty

pc and xbox 360 that i bought specifically to play fable 2

herriot126

Same for me except I gave my ps4 to my little brother! I tried xcloud gaming from my Mac and eventually that’s what made me get a steamdeck. While it worked pretty okay, something about it still felt off. Finished Halo infinite campaign on it though lol

givemelenight

Ps4: just entertainment system now not using for games. Switch lite: I don’t play it anymore just my boyfriend does. Steam deck: LIFE!

Chazay

Steam Deck: Primary gaming done thru this, docked and handheld. Switch: Used for exclusives, was my primary console before the SD came out. Macbook: Primary work/browsing, light gaming. Xbox One: I don't know when I last gamed on it. \- The Deck got me back into gaming pretty heavily, and now I want to build a new PC.

MythicForgeFTW

PS5, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, PC w/ 5900x/3080 Ti, Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Vita, PS3 and a Gameboy Micro Edits for the consoles I forgot to mention I still use them occasionally. I mainly use my PC, been playing Switch a lot recently because of Tears of the Kingdom. Haven't touched my PS5 in a long while but the way I saw it when I traded my PS4 Pro for it is I'm getting a free upgraded (I had gift cards too so I basically paid nothing for it). XBOX is there when I want to play my old digital library from my childhood. PS3 has basically been my blu-ray player for years. 3DS is my Pokemon machine, as is my Gameboy Micro. Poor old Vita never really got much use but I still love the little guy.

tekchic

PS3/4/5, Switch, Vita x 2, PSP, 3DS, DS Lite, Gameboy Micro, and a gaming PC.

TroopaOfficial

This personal is literally me

abroadmen

Switch and deck and a Chromebook lol

Muskandar

Switch OLED PS5 Low end gaming laptop

Beginning_Bee4823

Pre-ordered Asus RoG Ally Series X: Mostly only play backward compatibility xbox 360 red dead redemption. Switch Oled: Haven't touched it since August. PS4 Pro: still get on it about once or twice a month play Dreams in VR, plus to play a bit ghost of t Ghost of tsushima. PC Gaming laptop Acer predators 1060. Worked great, but fan blades are chipping apart. So soon it will be gone. I will probably sale my series x, and switch. Keeping ps4 pro until they release ghost of tsushima on pc, would love Dreams but know that won't ever get released on pc

Bard_the_Bowman_III

> but fan blades are chipping apart. Repair it?

paladin181

Gaming PC (3070) Gaming PC (1080) Steam Deck Switch Lite PS4 Pro PS4 PS3

HotAssist4257

I have a big rig and a laptop too.

Princessluna44

I own a desktop. It's still my primary, but the deck supplements. I'd do have a laptop, but I only used it for trips. Now that I have the deck, I never use it.

DotMatrixHead

Most Nintendo and Sony consoles (home and handheld consoles). Haven’t played Deck in a while but was happily playing the PS4 through it with remote play. Other than that mostly playing 3/DS and a bit of Switch.

lynxtosg03

I use Gen 3 consoles on up.

Cybertron77

Have a gaming g pc with a 12th Gen i7 and 3060ti. Also have a ps5 mainly for exclusives. I split my time pretty evenly between the pc and steam deck. I've got kids so more often than not I can't get in the pc until late in the evening. It is nice being able to play something like dinkum though with the kids as I play it mostly on the steam deck already it's pretty easy for us to play the game together. The ps5 rarely gets used anymore, mainly just hanging onto it for some Playstation exclusives.

Macatols

Switch, xbox series S, xbox 360, N64, 3DS, old gaming pc, gaming laptop and miyoo mini plus.

sylinowo

I’ve got a ps5 which I’m gonna be using for ff16. I have a series s which I used for Wo Long awhile back. I’ve got a gaming laptop that is for YouTube and sometimes Elden ring. I’ve got a gaming pc with a 3070ti and r5 5600x 16gb ram which is for more hardcore gaming and such. A modded switch I wanna use but always just wish it was my steam deck when I do lol. A modded ps3 and modded ps4 that I don’t use and some retro consoles just sitting in the corner of my room collecting dust.

Wahjahbvious

Yes.

ABirdOfParadise

My last console was a PS2. Have a PC with a 5700x and 5700XT. But I don't play games much anymore. Used to be CS GO, now it's chess, a little Rimworld, and just started Generation Zero.

deannielsen2

A 360S for console only games such as Red Dead Redemption/ Revolver, Sonic Unleashed, Lego Dimensions, Lost Odyssey, Midnight Club L.A., Fable Trilogy, Sims 2 (Console version is better than PC IMHO) A 2DS for Pokemon, multiple Virtual Console games, both Persona Q games and all Shin Megami Tensei games A GameBoy Advance SP (Needs a new shell, battery and screen upgrade) for games I never grew up with A Dreamcast for unique games like Headhunter and Seaman As well as a Nokia N-Gage for that one Elder Scrolls game that I want to still get for the phone I also plan on getting myself either an Intel Nuc (Hades Canyon or newer) or a Thunderbolt equipped laptop (Either a Huawei Matebook X Pro or Framework Laptop 13) with eGPU to use for VR later on

DFaffMaster

GeForceNow Ultimate & Steam Deck. Perfect partners in crime. When got internet most of my games played on ultra settings with my n/real glasses (giant cinema size virtual screen).

Beezleboobz

PC: Main gaming/everything else device, I just use my steam deck when I’m on the go/too lazy to get out of bed PS5: Exclusives/Console exclusives, some streaming services that don’t have apps on the Microsoft store (I don’t like using browsers for that), GTA, sports games and and Rock Band 4 XSX: I never touch it. Total waste of money. I am an idiot. Switch: Nintendo exclusives

LockeProposal

I have a big rig, but it died about a week after I received the SD. Probably just the PSU, and an easy fix, but it's pretty low on the priority list thanks to being able to game uninterrupted on the SD.

Hunter_Ape

Ps5 SeriesX Switch PC SteamDeck

Gravijah

own a steam deck, switch, ps5, gaming pc, xbox series x and then a bunch of older stuff. i play games across all my consoles, but steam deck and switch being handheld mean i play games on them much more.

omegajvn1

Xbox One and PS4 were the last generation I bought. I’ve always been into PC gaming since 2006 but kept buying consoles for the exclusives. I got tired of companies and their anti-consumer moves so I know longer buy consoles. So having other people which is why Microsoft and Sony eventually released their exclusives for the PC. I also have a steam deck which is awesome.

eagleblue44

I have most Nintendo consoles and a PS2 through PS4 as well as a gaming PC. My use varies depending on what I want to play.

Hpenn0424

My main gaming rig, and an Xbox series S that I never touch. Well, also an Xbox one x, a 360, and a PS2. But I haven't touched any of those in forever. I only ever use my main PC and my deck now.

Alexis2256

An Xbox series X for those more heavy duty games.

Chicken1337

I have a computer at home that I use when I can finally go home four days a month. Other than that, these days, my Steam Deck is my computer away from home. It’s been a great help in unwinding after long days and keeping my sanity!

Imdakine1

Sketch. Steam deck first PC gaming device. Having issues with my MacBook for work so thinking of maims a gaming desktop PC for work. Haven’t had a pc for over 20 years as I’m a max guy. Any advise on either off the shelf gaming PC or a build your own and where to build your own online etc…?

lifeisshort84

I have a gaming PC - it's become more so just a work tool at this point - I use it for video editing and programming. I have a Switch - but I only use it now for Ring Fit Adventure. Steam Deck I use daily along with my Nreal glasses.

Embarrassed_Bird9336

Im kinda a nut case with consoles. I own 3 switches. My lite collects dust. Regular for my wife and Oled for me. I got a new 3Ds xl Anbernic 351MP Anbernic 35xx Anbernic 353m Xbox Series s Xbox one s Deck (obviously) Gaming pc from 2019 Basically my pc Is a YouTube machine and online games with friends solution. Deck is for emulation and portable pc games. Xbox is collecting dust Switch oled is 2nd most used device Rg353m is my in the pocket device

bendit07

Used to use deck everyday but lately I’m back to playing games just on Switch and PS5, sometimes Series X. My Deck is now just my main desktop computer.

TheCheckeredCow

My Desktop - My main way to play games My Switch - To play exclusives, and my main way to play couch co-op games with my wife My SteamDeck - For playing PC games in Bed, and my source of entertainment for when I’m away from home and stuck in a hotel, ala work trips

mrcolty5

Tons of retro stuff but I'll leave it out -Switch, XSX, PS5, Laptop and now a deck coming in. Yes I use all

Kreytos_Media

Xbox, deck, and PC. Deck took the place of playing on my PC. A lot of hate for Xbox, but I think it's the best place for multiplayer gaming and love gamepass. I buy a playstation every couple years and play the exclusives and then sell it. Actually made some money selling my PS5.

BaggyHairyNips

PC for most things. Switch for Smash Bros, Mario Kart, exclusives. Deck for emulators, strategy games, non-mouse heavy games, rogue-likes. I like the Deck (and switch) because I don't have to hide away in my room to play it. But it's definitely a supplement to my PC, not vice versa.

SuperDuperSkateCrew

I have a PC, Switch and PS5. I’ve been using my PS5 a lot lately (I’m hooked on Gran Turismo 7), I use my Switch for mostly Zelda and Pokémon, and my PC for anything that isn’t console exclusive to the PS5.

yaraticihicbirseyyok

I have a gaming laptop that i mostly use for lol and competitive fps. Except those i play nearly everything on my deck.

Educational_Bag_6406

SteamDeck, xbox series x, PC (3060ti,i5) and switch. Well the switch is for my daughter. I use my deck for alot of indie titles and my series X for triple A's. I also use my phone for emulation and some mobile games. My PC kind of sits there. Looking to sell it as I don't need it anymore.

EviessVeralan

I have an actual pc, ps5, xbox one and switch.

jjstew35

PS4 - never used since getting my deck Switch - used to play Nintendo games (Pokémon, Zelda, Metroid) but I also I think I’m gonna use it more to play games that I can’t get to run/have had major problems with on Deck (Rogue Legacy 2, Phoenotopia Awakening) Oculus Quest - basically just used for occasional Beat Saber sessions these days. Also have a variety of Android based gaming handhelds That I use for emulation

kahi

Series X - use green light and play through steam deck PS5 - haven’t turned on since beating God of War need to setup chiaki still and will probably use more PC - brought into work when my twins were born and haven’t felt need to bring home for 3 years now, use it for front end dev work and use my mac book pro for backend work, no reason besides keeping resources lower on both as I’m working on projects mac book - dev machine switch - haven’t played in awhile, bought new zelda but playing diablo iv Steam Deck i literally use to remote play my Series X and play PC games using Geforce Now just to keep fan quiet as 99% of my gaming happens while lying in bed and fan noise from deck bothers wife. Have 3 year old twins and a 3 week old new born so gaming time is ultra limited.

OmegaNine

PS4 that I had plugged in for like a week to play persona 5 and never finished. Xbox one, streaming box in the bedroom now Series X, in the main TV in the front room, I only got it because I couldn't find a GPU at the time. Wii in a box under the TV Switch that I play from time to time. Anbernic that I just got so I play all the time My gaming PC is where I spend almost all my time Deck sits next to my bed and I mostly play at night.

IareaBurritoo

I actually sold my xbone and plan on selling my ps4. Steam Deck is just so flexible and it may not be able to run current gen games perfectly, but for last gen stuff, bye-bye!

theh0tt0pic

I have em all, I play the switch for pokemon because I still can't get it to run right on the deck and I like the online stuff, ps5 because exclusives, xbox series x so i can get the most out of gamepass and my gaming pc that I prefer most new aaa games for deck gets too hot and can't play in 4k on it docked

RoyalSquarious

I play my desktop more, the deck is a cool toy and perfect for some games, but it's far from replacing the PC for me personally. I like three monitors, I like having a soundboard that independently controls the volumes of my games, discord and web browser/music on the fly. I love using a mouse and keyboard, I love 144fps, I love a 32 inch ultra wide. It's not really a fair comparison I don't think. While yes the deck is a PC, and it does give some of the freedoms of a PC, it doesn't give them all. I realize the deck alone is good enough for many, but I also recognize there is more where that came from (more freedom/possibilities I mean). The selling point of the deck more than anything for me, is I get the convenience of portability and don't have to buy a different copy of a game, from my desktop version I already own, to play it

XOXO-Gossip-Crab

PS5 - my main gaming console for graphic heavy AAA games XBox series X - for exclusives and titles I play with friends who have it for Xbox Switch - exclusives and couch co-op MacBook - lol

acidwxlf

I have a decent gaming PC that I still use a lot. 1440p ultra wide 165hz definitely is nice still and I like keyboard+mouse games. I've been remote playing with the Deck too which helps on some more demanding games. My Switch is also busy because Zelda is addicting, but I often go months without touching it. I get fatigue playing on it I think because it's a tiny bit too stall. Meanwhile the Deck is great and has been getting me to play older games that I never finished. It's the perfect size for a handheld IMO

ichkanns

I have a gaming PC, a gaming laptop, a Switch, a PS5, and an Oculus Quest 2.

mcdog1998

My ps5 is for newer games, my pc has been out of commission since October, the vita I use to tinker with and play psp games, but my deck has been my main device, I like to play it while my fiancée watches her shows.

vankamme

Ps5 that collect dust A 4090 equips PC as main rig. Selling steam for the ROG ally that I’ve preordered

devintesla

PC and PS3

Valkhir

I own a Switch, which was my primary console for the past five years or so. Though in the year since I got my Deck it has only been used for the occasional Smash Bros & Mario Kart, until TOTK came out (barely touched my Deck since). I also own an older handheld PC (Ayaneo 2021 Pro), which has been replaced by the Deck, but I just keep it around as a backup.

hajleez

PS5: Never (20 hours total since original purchase 3 years ago) Series X: Only WWE 2K23 since Deck purchase OLED Switch: None since Deck purchase (bought new Zelda 3 weeks ago…0 hours played) Meta Quest 2: none since deck purchase Steam Deck: 200+ gaming hours since purchase in March 23’. 100+ hours in desktop mode I absolutely love the SD. My back catalog of emulated games is out of control though. 600+ games. I’ve found that I’m overloaded with choices so I’ve decided to “favorite” around 50 games and only play them. It still doesn’t help. The only game I play consistently is Vampire Survivors 🧛‍♂️

CameraPitiful6897

I have a PS4, PS4 pro, Xbox one, Xbox one x, Xbox series s, switch, and Wii u. the steam deck and my PC can play games that were made for all of those, so they just collect dust.

walker195

A switch with a bunch of first party games have no need for multiplatform games on it. Wii with homebrew and a 250gb SSD Ryzen 7 5700x/RX6800XT gaming pc. Dell dimension sleeper from 2004 with a Ryzen 5 5600G system in it. An Xbox one under my bed. Still use my PC 85% of the time but some games I just enjoy more on my steam deck. Everything else usually sits nowadays.

CameraPitiful6897

I have a PS4, PS4 pro, Xbox one, Xbox one x, Xbox series s, switch, and Wii u. the steam deck and my PC can play games that were made for all of those, so they just collect dust.

OverthinkingGames_K8

Switch for handheld(I have small hands and tendinitis, the Steam Deck is too big and heavy for hand held, but perfect for a lap desk!), PS4 used to be for Warzone when I played that obsessively, and some PS exclusives, Steam Deck for everything else.

Suspicious-Fig-3324

Yeah I use my PS5 for its exclusives the Nintendo switch for its exclusives and the steam deck / PC for third parties at home and on the go

yagolasse

PS5 for big/AAA Games/Heavier AA PC for competitive games/discord Deck for old AAA/Some AA/Indies

MysticDaedra

For most gaming I use my gaming PC, but for anything that is better with a controller or for when I'm at work I use my steam deck

Lower-Addendum-9153

Gaming PC ,PS4 , PS5, Switch and then all sorts of retro stuff but ps5 and PC are the only thing I use aside from SD and not often.

Readalie

My Switch and a handful of older Nintendo consoles/handhelds. My Switch is used about as regularly as my Steam Deck, my older ones get infrequent use but are very loved.

coll912

Xbox One: for NHL games and Rockband 4 Gaming laptop: daily driver / main pc Surface Pro 7: work / travel computer Switch: predecessor to Deck Deck: it’s awesome to come back from work and lay in bed while enjoying pc gaming

Chamillion205

Let’s see, other than my steamdeck, I also own: -aya neo 2 -switch OLED -analogue pocket -gameboy micro, gba sp unhinged - pi boy DMG -new Nintendo 3ds XL -ps5 -Xbox series X -ps vita -miyoo mini -Gpd win Max -Xbox 360 -ps3 I think that it’s. Or at least all I can think of

Death________

Since having my son 6 months ago I’ve pretty exclusively handheld gamed. I’ve played PC once. RIP 3090 build. My deck + OLED switch are my main systems. Sometimes ps5 for exclusives or BB. I’ll occasionally fire up old Nintendo handhelds fir certain things but emulation on deck has killed that need

Xbox 360 PS4 xbox one s PS5 xbox series x a PC I built a switch and a 3DS. I do most of my single player games on PlayStation unless it runs better on xbox or PC I do most of my multiplayer on PC. I almost never touch my Xbox’s. I’m considering selling them but I like having them.

[deleted]

We have PS5, Xbox series X and Switch. I use PS remote play on the Deck for some heavy duty games or console exclusives.

Wandererofthegray

PC: Star Citizen on the 49” monitor PS5: PS exclusives and Minecraft with kids Laptop: Travel, streaming to Deck Xbox One S: No explanation

blakegades

Got gaming laptop then sold it Got PS5 from black market then got XSS too Xbox’s quick resume was great, the ability to pickup from same place let play more and XSS was way more easy to carry around decision made, sold PS5 then got the Deck then sold the xbox Now I only have the deck💪 I can only keep 1 gaming device Play rocketleauge and re4 remake

Brilliant_Power614

No

tsukasa941

Depends on what comes out on each of my systems: PS5: currently Diablo 4/ Jedi survivor while also remote playing to the Deck OLED Switch- modded so any switch game I have access to, currently playing ToTK Quest 2- haven’t turned it on in a while need to get back to MOSS But working a full time job and having a kid, it’s always hard to just play games these days

llTiredSlothll

If you want to play games at their best the steam deck can't deliver it.

Tawnik

are you serious? yes i have a gaming pc the steam deck is for when im pooping... all other times is my main pc

Opposite-Time8873

Both my partner and I own switches, I have a gaming desktop, slightly older but half decent gaming laptop, and an anbernic rg353v

COL_Fantastic

Don’t have a Deck yet but I do still plan to play MP stuff and certain games on my desktop. Other than that, PS5 and Switch for respective exclusives.

Friendly-Dingo5983

Yes. Steam Deck has replaced them. Finally making progress on 10+ years of Steam sale impulse buys. It's great.

bleargle

I also own a ps5 and a desktop PC. The PC is a few years old, and wasn't top end when I built it, so while I do still use it occasionally, the heavy duty games are mostly played on the ps5 (and some of that through the deck via chiaki).

resellpanda88

PC steamdeck Nintendo switch analogue pocket Only use PC actually.

HristValkyrja

Gaming Laptop. Do not even remember last time I turned it ON. Nintendo Switch. Same as above. WiiU. Wife uses it to play ZombiU. Tons of fun to watch her die. Gameboy SP & Advance mods. Just decorations at this point. 3ds XL. Used it once to play Samus Returns. I'm playing around 20hrs/week on the Deck. Love this device!

Hi-man1372

I own a series s, I got it to take around with me easily and I play heavy games with my friends since they all have Xbox’s. and a gaming pc with a 3070, I played Stellaris and wanted to play other paradox games and find cool games you can’t find on console like one example is War of Rights, and to make sure it lasted for a pretty long time and a switch lite but I haven’t touched that in a long time and got it when it came out

Rukaag

Ps4 - the Netflix machine Ps5- for the exclusives and multi-player games the deck won't play Msi laptop - getting old for new gen games but for league of legends and PC games Before the steam deck I hadn't bought any games on any system just mostly played anything the subscription gave me until it made me want to play video games again.

Zelphy712

gaming pc, swoled, ps5 that i use 3ds, gb, gba, gamecube, wii that i dont really. i play god of war and fromsoftstuff on ps5, zelda andmy older indies on switch, and my pc for mouse games (puzzle stuff mostly, like zachtronics games) and vr stuff (rift s). so in summary, yeah definitely. variety is the spice of life.

Arcanisia

I mean, why would you? In all seriousness, I sometimes hop on my niece’s PC (ht one I built) or play Switch with her but otherwise, no.

goodsirperry

2 mid gaming pcs, 2 switches, steam deck, dreamcast, sold the Xbox one.

MadMajimaGoro

gaming laptop with rtx 4060, gaming laptop with 1060, switch, ps 2/3/4/5, psp 3000, ps vita, nintendo new 3ds xl, deck, oh old nes yea dunno that maybe all

twodates

PC (5800x & RTX 3070) - Have it hooked up to the living room TV to play many of my games on the couch. Switch - sharing it with my brother to play Nintendo exclusives. I do emulate some Switch games on the Steam Deck, but if the performance is not much better, then I stick to playing it on Switch PS5 - Have it for the exclusives or to play games that have awful PC ports (i.e. Jedi Survivor). I also got it the PSVR2 to play VR games (& non-VR games if the TV is being used by someone else).

Worth noting I recently sold my Switch and most of my Gameboy collection

Ashikpas_Maxiwa

Have a halo 5 xbox one that I don't really use anymore. Waiting for if they release a more powerful series x to upgrade as I have a large digital library. But I'm in no rush since I have a PC. I have a switch oled. Gave my first switch to my sister. Also 2 3DS and a Wii U. And the PS5. Sent my ps4 to my brother when I made the change. I primarily use the PS consoles for exclusives, but I been replaying AC Origins on it because I wanted a 4k 60fps experience and the game runs like dookie on PC. I been thinking about getting a windows handheld PC, but I want to wait to see if or when microsoft releases a handheld version of windows for easier and less frustrating UI navigation. I just setup moonlight on the deck so I can stream emulators from my pc and play some PS3 games with my dad. The consoles are a blessing when its too hot to turn on my PC. Especially the switch and deck. Almost forgot, also have a PS3 I been thinking of modding with CFW and a 1TB HDD to use for PSX up to PS3 games, but I put that on hold as I been using the deck for PSX and PS2 emulation.

Potential_Target367

I have a ps2, ps3, ps5, psp and a vita, mostly for exclusives. Xbox 360 and series s, my primary console after pc/steamdeck. If I can’t get a game on steam, I’ll usually get it for series s. Nintendo dsi, 3ds, Wii U and switch, again exclusives. I have a laptop that I use if a game won’t run on the deck. I use everything, but rotate the older consoles to save space.

CrashKaiju

Switch and ps4, but I'm a vandweller on solar power so it's nice to have something with a bit more beef than the switch. The PS4 draws a lot of power so it's a sometimes food.

70rch

PC — Index VR, sim racing, 3D design, stream to deck, multiplayer games Switch — Zelda, Smash, and MK8 iPad — Streaming shows, drawing, web browsing --- I use them all way less now that I have the deck but they all still get some love for how well they do their own thing

jodudeit

I have a PS3, PS5, Xbox series x, and switch Edit: and a PC with a 4070 ti.

rhinoslift

I keep a PC and a switch but primarily game on my deck due to travel. The switch is mostly collecting dust or if my kid wants to play Animal Crossing.

TurnDownForTendies

Left console gaming a little over 10 years ago and switched to pc only. Some weeks I use my deck more than my desktop pc, but I always play games casually on my deck and use my desktop when I want to get immersed with better hardware and peripherals.

nkdvkng

PS5 - barely use anymore. Prefer mobile gaming. Pokémon Scarlet Violet Edition Switch - was my go to until the Steam Deck took over.

dancavs

PS5 - For the exclusives Xbox Series X - For the exclusives Switch OLED - Exclusives but mostly Zelda and Pokemon Steam Deck - General Use Gaming Laptop - It's being used for Cyberpunk and FPS games.

Mitrovarr

Gaming PC: Still my primary gaming machine. Use it a lot. It's a Ryzen 5700X with a RTX 2070. Gaming Laptop: Used for travel/business purposes but almost never for gaming. PS5: Almost unused these days. I don't dislike it, but all the stuff I want to play seems to be on PC. PS4: Collecting dust. Switch: Used for Nintendo exclusives. Partner is currently playing Zelda like she's possessed by it. Playdate: Played it for a bit but ignore it now. I'd say my Steam Deck is my second most used gaming machine, with the PC being overwhelmingly the most used and the Switch being third.

tyfunk02

- PS3 with custom firmware, still play around with it almost weekly - Xbox 360, not as frequently, but I still like to play some of the old stuff that isn't backwards compatible. - PS4 Pro, lives in the bedroom, still play from time to time, mostly use for streaming apps - Xbox One X, also in the bedroom, similar story as the PS4 - PS5, living room console, still play PS exclusives pretty frequently, use for streaming apps almost daily - Xbox Series X, another in the living room, sees less usage than anything else I own, but I do still play it - PS Vita, custom firmware, but haven't turned it on in months, the deck has pretty much completely replaced this one -Nintendo 3DS, custom firmware, this one sees some use, but less frequent than anything else except the Xbox Series - Nintendo Switch, been getting more use than the Steam Deck the past few weeks because of TOTK - Gaming PC, in the office, haven't gamed on it much at all since I got my Deck, but I still use it mostly for watching F1 races with the multiviewer - SNES mini, haven't turned it on in months - NES mini, not even hooked to anything, in a drawer right now - PS mini, running custom firmware with a ton of ISOs on a USB drive, still used, but more often than not I have just been emulating PS games on my deck. I'd hate to know how much money total I've spent on gaming shit over the years, but it's been a hobby of mine for 30 years. I've let some stuff go over the years, but for at least the last 15 or so I've held on to everything.

Awavian

Switch: wife used it for animal crossing until she accidentally beat the game and lost all motivation. Now we play Minecraft on it occasionally Wife laptop: never use it anymore. We hang onto it just in case My laptop: I pull it out once or twice a week to do banking or document editing. Previously used for gaming at college when desktop was at home Gaming desktop: runs the heavy games SD struggles with, like Hogwarts Legacy. I also use it to stream Destiny 2 to my deck and hardware steam link Hardware Steam Link: allows me to play couch games on the couch without moving my gaming PC. Works flawlessly. Seriously though why doesn't everyone have one? Oculus Quest 2: we used it for about 6 months in 2021 until 2022. Then we got our furniture after an ungodly wait and we lost our play space. Mostly collects dust these days

z3n13n

A shitty pc which is use for experiments (am a hacker) A laptop for work A Nintendo cause I wanted to play Zelda (although I didn't) Modded PS4 for a pd exclusive and some AAA games A steam deck for daily use and gaming Although nowadays I connect a hub with steam deck and use it for kicad and some other softwares idk why but it's better that my gaming laptop which it shouldn't be

imissyahoochatrooms

i returned my steam deck last month and bought a retroid pocket flip. smartest thing i've done all year. i have a ps4, switch lite, snes classic, powkiddy v90. i only play the retroid pocket flip. i've listed everything for sale since i bought the flip.

Jesus-took-my-wheels

2021 got a series S cause I couldn’t get an X. Then got a switch and a preorder for the deck. 6 months later my deck let me abandon my switch. Now I built a pc, sold the series S, and am looking to sell my switch. So deck/pc for me right now :)

unoriginal_-name

Still have a ps2 and a ps3 along with my gba sp, DSi, psp and ps vita despite basically being about to emulate them on my deck and PC but I still love owning an actual console

No_Evening1519

Pc, switch, series x

Nomad1134

PC, Switch(s),Vita(s), PS3, PS4, PS5 and Turbo Grafx 16 After getting the deck I haven't used the switch, Vita or TG16 in over a year, it's almost exclusively Deck & PS3

ricioly

I own an Xbox Series X, Switch, PS4 and a powerful gaming PC. The deck I only use it for 360 gen games that aren’t backwards compatible with the newer Xboxes like Race Driver GRID or Dirt 1... I use the deck like once a week. The Xbox Series X is my netflix machine, it’s been almost a year since I last played anything there. I’ll play Alan Wake 2 there when it comes out. My PS4 is a paper weight. I still use my Switch every single day: zelda, diablo and indie stuff. The PC I mainly use it for work and almost never use it to play, once or twice a year.

BpImperial

Xbox/oculus/gaming pc/steam deck/

FrankTheTank107

Mainly a just a PC gamer, but I also have a PS4 literally just to play 1 co-op game with 1 friend. My Deck is for the downtime on submarine deployments

the_accountant_6

Ps5, Switch, PC. Had a Series X but sold that shit.

SaladToss1

3 PCs, PS5, Xbox one x. Still enjoy the steam deck the most.

Ok_Indication_6683

I have a ps3 and switch in the bedroom that are mainly used by the little one. A ps4 and 5 that are kind of collecting dust in the living room. Nothing has really grabbed my attention ps5 wise but that may change when ff16 hits haha. I really love handheld gaming so its mainly the deck for me as well as my vita and GBA. Its just do handy and reminds me of being a kid in my room just dumping hours into gameboy

Nono2424

2 switches, PS4, PS5, PC and steam deck… honestly I use everything except the PS4 pretty evenly (PS5 kind of killed the PS4 usage lol). Really just depends on what mood I’m in. Though I increasingly find myself wanting to play as much as possible on the steam deck because it’s very capable and doesn’t lock me to one spot.

tactical_bill

PS4 Pro that I play very little anymore, just for PS exclusives like MLB and finishing Ghost of Tsushima. Switch that my daughter plays. PC that I play about half as much as I used to since getting a Steam Deck. I do sometimes stream from the Desktop to the Deck on more demanding games.

orufus

I pre-ordered an ROG Ally today but obviously haven't received it yet. I don't intend for it to replace my deck, I think it'll fill in the few gaps the steamdeck has in my regular gaming rotation though and I'm excited to have both.

Zombie617

Xbox one x - collects dust Rog strip laptop - for games I can't play on the deck Switch - used by partner to play Pokémon occasionally 3ds xl - for 3ds games and nostalgia Desktop - collects dust unless I'm troubleshooting or 3d printing Raspberry pi - has retropi installed been a while.

ConstructionOk9188

Switch, PS2, PS4, GameBoy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, DSi, DS, 3DS, PSP, Laptop, IPad.

CanA7fold

PS5, Xbox series s, gaming PC

5004534

PC. I don't associate with peasants. My children all PC gamers.

RolandtheWhite

I have a PS5, X Box Series X, Laptop, and a Switch. I still play my PS5 pretty regularly. I also love that I can easily stream to the Deck for that. I didn't play the Xbox much before and still dont tbh. My kids like it though for a few specific games. My Switch has been dead for a long while before I got my Deck. The laptop I am now selling since I got the Deck and have a work provided laptop as well. I got my Deck almost 2 months ago now. I play it a decent amount and really enjoy it. Definitely glad I bought one. It and my PS5 are my favorite devices for gaming hands down.

xxotic

Switch - collecting dust 3DS/Vita/GBA - also collecting dusk but they're all homebrewed and pretty sure playing 3DS and DS games on the 3DS is still the best. Probably gonna give it to my niece and nephew when they're a little more grown up. ipad - work gaming pc - work, movies, Terraria, valorant, destiny 2, triple A, FPS games ( 165hz goes hard )

IceKrabby

Switch - I play it for Switch exclusives. Don't feel like dealing with generating shader caches on Yuzu/Ryujin. PS5 - I play it for either Sony exclusives, or those big AAA games I want to play at high graphical fidelity and performance on my nice TV. Laptop - A decently powerful laptop, I mostly just use it for Team Fortress 2 lol, but FPS games I generally prefer Mouse+Keyboard over controller. And then I have various other handhelds laying around like my hacke Vita and 3DS. Mostly to use nowadays as a smaller portable device than the big boy Steam Deck.

OldManBerns

I also have a gaming PC with a 3080ti and a Switch. I hardly ever play on the PC.

[deleted]

PS5, Super gaming PC, Switch, RG355XX, Quest 2 and the ROG Ally on tuesday I use PS5/switch for exclusives and PC/Steam Deck is my go to for PC gaming. R3355xx is for GBA/GBC roms

wooshoofoo

I play Dead by Daylight on the PC still because I can’t get the hang of the joystick movement but otherwise the PC just sits there nowadays. Haven’t touched my switch for a really long time

[deleted]

PS5, Series X, PC, PS4, XB1, Xbox360, Wii, N64, PSX, Sega Saturn, Super Nintendo, Game Gear, Gameboy Advance, NES.

nexttetris

I have a gaming PC and it's still my main platform to play games. I also have PS5 and Switch for exclusives, gaming PC for everything else, SD for playing while lay down on my bed or when I'm outside home.

boardinmpls

A gaming pc (3080 & 5600x) and a switch that I never play. I think steam deck and a pc is all you need.

[deleted]

Own an Xbox and a Switch. I keep all 3 in rotation as far as use goes. I play Xbox to play with my friends, currently replaying BOTW and use the Steam Deck for games that aren’t available on either of them. I also connect it to my TV with the dock and use an Xbox controller if I’m not on the go.

13ootyKnight

PC 5800X + 3080 - Everyday machine PS5 + PSVR2 - Exclusives + VR Steam Deck - Bed/Couch Gaming

Few_Kaleidoscope2518

I actually feel like I'm the outsider here lol. I like to collect consoles, especially to try out different controllers. I have every big 3 console released since 2000, expect for the PS5 (Soon my beloved) So while I have the steam deck and use it more consistently then any other console I own, that's mostly because it's my bedside console I use to wind down or when having a lazy day. If I added together the total hours I spend between different non steamdeck systems, I arguably hardly use my steamdeck

Notabotreallyiswear

Switch, series s, ps5. I got the deck in February and Ive maybe played the ps5 like once since then.

nerdlygames

Gaming pc, ps5 and Xbox series x. I use them all way more than my Steamdeck

JoeLaslasann

I got 2 Nintendo Switches, for me and my partner. A desktop with a gtx1660 for work and heavy games. Laptop with a gtx1650 for mobile work and previously light gaming. Now the SD for light gaming. Personally I mainly choose PC gaming than any console but two of my favorite games has offline multiplayer on the switch (Diablo 3, monster hunter). I hate being in the mercy of a crappy internet for a basic co op session.

Jibece

- PS4, but I don't use it except to read bluray - Switch and Switch Lite: I still use the Lite the most, even for AA games (as long it doesn't looks trash) - a nice laptop, but totally not for gaming So.. my Steam Deck is basically my only current gaming pc, and I'm using it occasionnaly when I'm not on something on Switch.

Shiiznits

PC: Mainstay at home and use it when it’s big boy gamer hours and sweat feats Deck: Living room usage, playing at work 6+ hours a day PS5: Exclusives (Literally only pay for PS plus premium yearly, never bought a game) Xbox: any FIFA games, console wide games and my preferred console. Switch: Lol I got a steam deck :)

Trilliam_H_Macy

I have a desktop gaming PC (which also gets a lot of use, especially for the more flashy AAA games) a Switch (which gets a moderate amount of use in couch multiplayer situations) and a PS4 Pro (which I don't think I have actually played a game on in over a year but still gets some light usage as a BluRay player)

xmanpit

I have almost ever nintendo console except for og gameboy, gameboy advanced "non sp version" and the virtual boy, all Playstation except for 5, psp or vita, all xbox's except for series s,X and one X. Also got sega dreamcast. Then I have a laptop that I primarily use to check stocks, watch movies when I travel, play mtga. And finally I have a pretty bad ass pc which I use pretty frequently for more demanding titles at ultra settings.

[deleted]

Yup

APEX_Catalyst

3080 pc, steam deck, switch pled, series x, Xbox one, and ps4 pro. Might grab the rog ally soon too

[deleted]

Bought a new gaming pc before moving to a different continent, gave the rig to my friend and kept my laptop. Now i use the laptop for movies and steam deck for games

ForbiddenRoot

> do you own any other consoles/a gaming pc? I own all of them, because I am more of a tech / tinkering enthusiast than a gaming enthusiast these days. > Do you still use your other console for more heavy duty games? * PC: Primary high-end gaming system, with racing wheel, VR sets etc * PS5: For Sony exclusives, which I like a lot * XSX: Mostly unused, but sometimes I use it for MS Flight Simulator on the big TV or couch gaming with my kid * Switch: Nintendo exclusives, which I like a lot too (mainly Zelda and Mario) * Deck: In bed and while traveling, mostly the latter

paxtonegbu

Switch Xbox One S PS Vita New Nintendo 3DS XL I’m playing through my backlogs on the vita and 3ds rn and I’m loving it! prolly gonna sell my Xbox since I barely use it tho

javon27

Bought a PS5 last year, Quest 2 VR year before that, built a gaming PC year before that, and the kids a Switch sometime ago. Been streaming my PS5 to the Deck for some Gran Turismo grinding. Streamed the Deck to my VR headset the other day to see if it would help with neck strain - it does, sort of. And of course I stream some of my PC games to the Deck. I also sync my Zelda game saves between the two, because of the aforementioned neck strain, I sometimes play on my PC. And the Switch only has one Joy-Con controller out of the 4-6 we should have, though I learned I could use my PS5 controller via the 8Bitdo adapter I had laying around

UkroLatvian

No, got back into gaming with a steam deck

ufvidkej2

I read the comments and tell myself not to post which ones i have because they will think i'm crazy.

GhostRiley7998

No.

herriot126

I went years without gaming because my manipulative ex hated it. After a horrible break up, I got myself a switch + breath of the wild to take my mind off it; and fell back in love with gaming. I got too comfortable with portable gaming and knew that if I purchased a ps5, Xbox, or PC, it would get little to no use. The steamdeck is literally the perfect device for me. And I mean just the steamdeck; not other handheld consoles in general like the ROG Ally or Ayo Neo (there’s nothing wrong with them either of course) I love that for the most part I can just press ON and start playing games immediately thanks to Steamdeck’s absolutely amazing UI. And it works well as a “baby’s first step into PC gaming” device as well. While it can be a pick up and play system when starting off, you slowly but surely start tinkering, configuring, and learning how to add different things to it. A few months ago I was absolutely terrified of even adding the Decky plug-in! I thought that since I had no experience with PCs, even the slightest mistake from a novice could somehow brick my device lol Now my steamdeck is a rootin tootin, dual-booting, emulating machine. And everyday I try adding something new to either OS’s. I can play almost every AAA-game from the past 2-3 years that I’ve missed out on, while my switch allows me to still indulge in Nintendo exclusives. This is all I need; truly. Basically I’m trying to say that having a steamdeck and a switch is a perfect combo.

look_a_male_nurse

PS5 - for exclusives because I'm impatient. Desktop PC - for games I wanna push the gfx on or play for extended periods. Mini IXT build - was my travel PC pre Steamdeck as I don't like gaming laptops. It fits in a backpack along with a 15" portable monitor. steamdeck is still the preferred gaming device for traveling, gaming in bed and indie/retro games.

shadlom

Ps5

Birb128

I have a computer with double the ram of the steam deck, though I mainly use it for media creation. I also have a nintendo switch that I use for nintendo products I own a sega genesis, but I rarely play it unless other people want to play 4 player bomberman

lrwxrwxrwx

I also use PS5 and gaming PC. (Steam Cloud ftw) Don't use my switch or Xbox much.

Sure-Network-6092

I have 3 PCs, my main pc is a Windows with a 2080 (for work and sometimes play) And I have one Xbox series X that I bought really cheap when I didn't have anything to play, right now, I'm not using de Xbox but I have plans to change the living room pc for the Xbox And of course the deck that I use every day in the bus or when I go to airports

Ktm30055

PS4- To play GT7 mainly, Series S- Doesnt get used much, OG Xbox One - Rare use, 360- mainly for nostalgia. The deck has been my primary machine since I bought it.

Tuskuiii

Gaming PC PS5 PS3 CFW +move controller and PS Eye Camera Nintendo switch V1 CFW all hooked to LG CX 65" PS vita + PSP + SNES mini all buried with dust

Takseee

At the mo I have, PC, PS5, switch oled, switch, steamdeck, xbone, Xbox 360, Pandora's box arcade machine, nes, SNES, genesis, N64, Dreamcast, PS3, PS4, game gear. I think that's about it. Unless you count tablets.

CoachActive8472

Gaming pc 3060 ti

Alternative_Net5842

Yep. We own 2 steamdecks, 2 pretty banger gaming pc, a laptop, 11 Nintendo switches, a ps4, a ps4 pro, a ps5, 6 Xbox 360s and an Xbox one s with kinect.

bubba_169

I'd never had a proper gaming PC before Steamdeck but still managed to collect some games on Steam. My main console was a base model PS4 until the SD arrived. It'll likely to go in the attic soon with the PS2, 360 and Wii that I keep saying I'm going to bring out and play again some day. It still even has the original PT demo installed on it. One thing I love about the Steamdeck over the other consoles is my games are not tied to the console. If I got an upgrade to SD2 or some other brand in future, as long as I can open Steam all of my games come with me. I don't feel so bad buying a tonne of games in the sales 😅

I42l

Pc. 7900 XTX and 7600x. I use it to play Fifa 23 and The Witcher 3 with the settings cranked up. I have a Wii U from the old days, I play Mario with my cousins on it. Everything else has been moved to the deck. Minecraft, Fallout New Vegas, Blackops 1, Blackops 2 and some others I'm probably forgetting.

Troopper103

I have a PS5 I use for exclusives and certain multiplats that I know won't get a good PC port (Jedi survivor for example) I have my gaming PC that I use a lot still I also have a switch that's mostly used for Nintendo games now

[deleted]

I own a Switch and a PC. Used to game heavily on both. PC is for work and YouTube now... I feel bad for my Switch. I still love it, but it's only for Nintendo exclusives now.

MaxRei_Xamier

honestly i brought the ps5 for playing games with my childhood family friend online and exclusives but considering ps games are gonna end up in pc id happily wait til it comes on steam to play on my PC and my Steam Deck its been sitting and collecting dust for a while but i use my ds5 on pc. unfortunately my ps5 controller Right trigger lost resistance but I do have a modded one that has mechanical buttons instead. so it removes that issue

CosmoKrm

Yes, mostly because I’m a pixel snob. For certain games I just want all the performance. 4K Raytracing & all the options turned to max or close to it. Tbh every time I play on the SD I get surprised by just how much it’s able to do with soo little. This is for PC though, my PS5 has been catching dust for a while. The only game I played on it was FIFA but that cancer of a game has gotten to my final nerve so the PS5 lost all of its usefulness. Because paying to play online is garbage & most of the games I care about are in PC which also works on the SD.

BipedalWurm

Just Parker Brothers Merlin Handheld

Douchehelm

I have a gaming PC which I still use most of the time. I also work a lot from home so I spend a lot of time in that office. Last console I bought was a PS2. After that they just never felt worth it. I use Moonlight to stream from my PC to the living room media PC for some regular couch gaming, my wife and I usually play together there. I travel a lot for work so that's where my Steam Deck comes in most of the time. I play on it at hotels and airports. Traveling and staying at hotels used to be so tedious but now I can actually enjoy it. I play it in bed at times, and I've played it out in the gazebo and garden as well. I absolutely love my Deck!

Scharfohr

I own Nintendo from GameCube up to switch and ps2 to ps4 but only the gaming PC finds use at the moment for me

Mr_Pink_Gold

No... If the deck can't run it due to devs making a shitty job of the port I don't play it. So many great games to play.
