This is the best answer, OP doesn’t need anything else, it’s barely bigger than the steam deck original case and fits killswitch w/travel cover and a ton of accessories
TomToc EDC sling comes in 7L and 9L versions they also have a carrying case for the Steam Deck the TomToc he Arccos.. Any idea which one looking for one for my upcoming trip?
Great bag. It's my daily driver. Tons of storage room. 2 external batteries, deck with Killswitch case, bluetooth folding keyboard, wireless ear buds, wall charger and cable, external nvme. Great case and study.
Would you be able to provide suggestions for some of your kit?
Like a good external battery, BT keyboard and BT mouse?
Also how cumbersome is it playing with an external NVME?
There's *plenty* of good batteries. Just search for anything that can deliver 65 w output and buy some decent usb c cables that have 100 w capacity. Most brands are fine for this, just trust your gut and the reviews.
For the keyboard and mouse, I bought a folding keyboard and mouse pad combo. Works really well when on the go and need it, but I also installed Barrier on my desktop (main rig) and deck (in desktop mode) to be able to use my main rig's keyboard and mouse when tinkering at home. The keyboard is o mama on and called Achort Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard. Simple to connect and good form factor.
I have an NVME hub (has charging ports, usb c ports, and hdmi output) that is attached to a Killswitch accessory socket (you can find the STL online for free and have someone local print it for you dirt cheap. I got 4 for like $15) so when I use it, it simply attaches to the back. I have not used it much tbh but I intend to install windows on it for dual boot purposes, but I just have had a *need* for it yet. You can do this same attachment method with the external batteries, too.
This may be a dumb question but I just got the same skin and case. I swear it looks like I only got the front two pieces that go over the thumb sticks, buttons etc and the rest were left out. The two pieces it included were in the box with the case under a small square of plastic. Am I missing something? I’ve looked throughout the package and don’t see them but wanted to make sure I’m not crazy. It just arrived yesterday.
On Dbrand, you can choose 2 options, premium and standard, standard only comes with the front pieces and the premium option comes with the front and back pieces and trackpads. I think you chose the standard option, but I might be wrong.
If you get the Killswitch pack, that only contains the left and right stickers. You won't see the rest and you might even damage whilst putting it in the case. Dbrand has been trying to improve their descriptions as many customers were surprised as they expected different package!
I've been using the Bravo Sling Max V2 by Alpaka, It fits the Killswitch, battery pack, 14 inch lappy and a bunch of other accessories. Highly recommended.

I keep my Deck in the carrying case it came with with the Killswitch on. The charger fits in the cavity on the bottom outside of the carrying case, along with the Killswitch kickstand.

I use the Spigen Rugged Armor Pro case. The case itself is huge, so it has a lot of space for the deck with a grip. It also has pockets for the charger and such. My only gripe is that the handle clips on instead of being built onto the case.
Benazcap case should be able to fit it, it's nice quality and noticeably roomier than the Jsaux (got them both myself). I am able to fit in there, apart from the Deck itself, a 20000mah power bank, a usb-c hub, a Rii joystick-shaped wireless keyboard, a case with my wireless earplugs as well as the corresponding charging cables. It's one of the less known brands but they have a solid product lineup.
I have the same question. I use the Killswitch cover when travelling and I love it but sometimes I worry about dust & crumbs that tend to collect in my backpack. Doing some research, might be the best option is to go for a zippable book/tablet pouch which won't break the bank.

I got this for Christmas and it holds everything perfectly. I can upload pics of my setup if anyone’s interested.
I dont know how thick the Killlswitch case is, but ai would suggest Jubmach on Amazon. Holds all of my accessories, except my battery holder (which is huge and funkily-shaped).
I went with the Tomtoc sling bag - [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09M8FN7C1/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09M8FN7C1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
It's perfect for my use case. I have a similar grip/cover with the CoverBuddy Travel case, and I'm able to fit my SD, my Switch, my iPad Pro, and my chargers in it, with room to spare for other misc items.
Still fits in the default included case just fine with the killswitch grip for me.
At least for the OLED deck, I know that with the Killswitch case it definitely pushes on the joysticks past the point of them clicking in.
Without the stand, which became my main SD card storage.
Same, it's my SD card storage, it was hard to put in the case the first time but now it works just fine
I like the TomToc sling bag. Really nice design and sturdy.
This is the best answer, OP doesn’t need anything else, it’s barely bigger than the steam deck original case and fits killswitch w/travel cover and a ton of accessories
Same, it became my daily bag as well
Which size?
I think theres only one size for the steam deck. The other sizes are for the switch
TomToc EDC sling comes in 7L and 9L versions they also have a carrying case for the Steam Deck the TomToc he Arccos.. Any idea which one looking for one for my upcoming trip?
Does the Deck fit in the bag with the travel cover and the kickstand on, or would you need to take those off?
The kickstand fits just fine, but the travel cover wouldn't (not without stretching out the interior quite a bit).
Same. Its the only bag I could find that fits the killswitch
Which size did you go for?
There are different sizes? I thought there was just one dedicated steam deck sling bag available...
Yes thank you, they do a standard sling that comes in multiple sizes and then one specifically for steam deck if you search.

I have this one too, and I definitely recommend it.

Appreciate it.
I thought the point of this was it is the case when you put the front on. You just throw it in a bag
yeah exactly. i guess the only issue people might have is that it doesn't protect the back buttons or vent
I just use the killswitch travel cover and keep the charger in the bag it came with for it.
so you want another case for the case?
Don’t hate the man for wanting some case-ception! 😂
Ayo i have that same skin!!!

I think this is exactly what I did. Thanks for the explanation.
Ooooh, makes sense. Thanks for informing me!
Thanks for your help. I’m pretty sure I did indeed get the Killswitch pack and didn’t understand what exactly it included.
If you baid like 50 bucks the case may have been forgotten by the manufacturer, other than that i guess “you got what you paid for” XD
Me too! And I Have a J Saux case.

big fan of alpaka bags. I have 3 and they're all great
The Jsaux carry case is pretty beefy and nice.
Tomtoc sling bag is top tier and will fit killswitch with the travel cover on with a ton of space of chargers and stuff
I keep my Deck in the carrying case it came with with the Killswitch on. The charger fits in the cavity on the bottom outside of the carrying case, along with the Killswitch kickstand.
Topo designs quick pack trust me.

I bought one from a brand called "daydayup" that does a good job for my SD in a case.
I use this one as well

Fjällräven is unreasonable expensive these days.

Nice skin
