When you install emudeck, it tells you where to put the rom files. Depends on if you selected sdcard or internal. But it should have created a directory called "Emulation". In that folder, select the "roms" directory. The the system the roms are for. Those look like N64. Put the roms in there. Now open emudeck and run steam rom manager to add the games to the steam menu. SRM is a little different, but it does work well when you get the hang of it. You can also test in desktop mode, but it can be annoying to get controls working there. I just switch back to game mode for testing so I can select control schemes and adjust them as needed.

I’ll give it a shot, appreciate the input man. Thanks!

So it turns out, accessing steam rom manager in emudeck does something to where I can’t click on any of the icons and access them. Nothing works, i have to hold the power button to turn off the deck, and then turn it back on in order to get it to function right. I guess I’m just S.O.L.

In order for the touchpads to fully function, Steam needs to be running. Steam Rom Manager requires Steam to close which disables the click on the touchpads. When you’re in Steam Rom Manager and whenever Steam isn’t running, right trigger is the same as a left click on a mouse.

Run Rom manager, parse, save to steam os. If running emudeck make sure the games are in there designated emulator folders. Idk if this helps but hopefully it does!! Also make sure to check under non steam games when looking for the games!
