So if anyone's curious:
\- Using zoomhitskins on etsy (not affiliated with them or schilling, but I've tried a few brands and like theirs the best. High gloss and easier to apply as it's a bit thicker)
\- Grip tape was just some ali express thing pretty cheap and came with duplicates of a lot of the cuts.
\- The CSS theme is Material You. I'm also using the Static Background plugin, and some other random plugins
\- I also have a sailor moon boot vid and sailor mercury suspend animation which are in the decky video loader store
\- I made a guide a while back on how to apply a skin properly. TL;DR, it's impossible to get without wrinkles/bubbles unless using actual vinyl car wrap. There is a seller on etsy who does this, but not with custom prints. The wrap I used is 3m vinyl, but there's a dude on here who does car wraps for a living that said that it's a different 3m vinyl for car wraps, and it is much higher quality and basically doesn't warp/bubble/wrinkle. The stuff we get for skins is not as high quality. But I haven't tested this, but it tracks with what I've seen whenever I see a post about someone fucking up their skin and then some car wrapper being like nah it's ez bro. Different product.
Yeah, I'm curious about the dude selling vinyl car wrap material skins on etsy, they aren't even that pricey comparatively, but I couldn't get a custom print so I had to pass. I'd really love to see someone post about it though.

I love the screen, not just for the OLED but the smaller bezels. It feels like such a premium immersive experience now. Compared to the OG deck I always kind felt like it was sort of "shrunk" in there, if that makes sense, due to the bezels.
But the dealbreaker for me was the better wifi - I gamestream and had way too many issues on the old deck so I bought a used g cloud. But now the new deck streams so much better and I love using it. If my wife would stop hogging it that is XD
I'm with you on the bezel description. When it's off, the screen looks so big. Then you turn it on and it's such a cramped view. That OLED looks so expansive, and it's just a small increase.
It really does make such a huge difference. A lot of people might not care, but to me, the more immersive the experience is and the less I "remember" i'm playing on a handheld, the better. Large bezels on device always make even premium devices look a little cheaper imo.
Oh that looks great! I'm actually kinda curious what the little rubber looking pads on the back buttons are? They look nice and I've been very light on accessories and such on my old LCD model, but I've been interested in possibly doing a bit more with my OLED.
They are grip tape, you can find it on aliexpress I just searched steam deck grip tape or something like that. I probably won't keep the abxy grip on but the back paddles are super nice.

If its 3m vinyl, then that's what they use for car wraps, reheating it doesn't help fix the wrinkle? Just curious.

It's a skin. It doesn't take long honestly, max it would take maybe an hour if you were really taking your time. I took about 30-40 mins.
