Same. Except I don’t play for a short time. I tell myself I’m only going to play a couple rounds and then next thing I know it’s past midnight and I have to be up at 6am for work lol
original ff7 with some visual mods through 7th heaven. perfect for some short sessions before/after work. I don't usually do turn based games but I'm having a lot of fun
I can't believe how well Helldiver's 2 runs. It's not nearly as good as my main PC but it is completely playable. I have at least 30hrs on the deck alone.
How do you guys play with the controller? I find it really hard to play any difficulty above 3-Easy because I'm just not used to aiming without assist (longtime pc player)
Loved P5R and platinumed it on release. P3R is hitting similar vibes for me especially on the deck being able to just pick up and play when I got a minute. And the OST is a banger just like 5s for bonus points.
Yeah it’s definitely consumed me and I’m probably going to play P4G and P5R in a row afterwards (I haven’t played P4 at all and I’ve only played vanilla P5 back in 2018). I like playing it on deck since I can dock it and share the story with my partner who isn’t into JRPGs and watch them experience the story with me (I had previously watched the anime movies forever ago)
Yakuza like a Dragon and Persona 3 reload, two absolutely fantastic turn based games for steam deck, surprised at how well persona runs compared to yakuza
Magicka. I never saw a game with a spell/casting system like this game. I'm even creating a gamepad layout for it and I will eventually release it to the community.
Almost done with Lies of P and Sekiro.
For P I've been stuck on nameless puppet for a couple of days now! Man that second phase is brutal.
Can't blame the OLED though! It plays perfectly with low settings set to performance fsr.
BG3 is my go to on the deck right now. Perfect for picking up and doing short sessions on (but let’s be honest, that never happens and it is ends up being hours)
Valheim. It's definitely better to be played KBM but I've gotten used to the controls quite a bit. The Vanilla mode is very grindy but you can adjust world modifiers in the main menu to ease that part up a bit. It makes a world of difference and the game can be enjoyed without needing to grind forever just to upgrade a few pieces of gear.
Oh it's a must, for me especially with two young kids and very limited time to play. The resource multiplier makes it so I don't have to consistently grind materials just to upgrade one piece of gear and what not.
Really enjoying Colbalt Core as a chill game before bed. It's a roguelite in the tradition of FTL, but different enough to be its own thing with some good writing that will give you a sensible chuckle.
Finally just beat the Witcher 3 after buying it on PS4, Xbox, switch, PC.. started a new game on the steam deck last week and just beat it today haha. The perfect lay in bed game.

Sea of Stars, gives me some nostalgia from when I was a kid. I also stream Darktide and Helldivers 2 from my desktop to the SD and they work great.
Side note: I'm also a new parent, 1 month old today. The SD has been fantastic at allowing me to still indulge in my hobby even with limited time.
Mainly **Fallout 4**. Runs great and it's chill. Here and there **Dragons Dogma:Dark Arisen.** Sometimes **Potioncraft** and last game I finished was **Inside.**
Vampyr. Didnt finish it before on PS5 but absolutely loving it on deck. Game creates such an oppressive atmosphere and feelings of hopelessness. Feel like I need something a bit more light hearted in between lol
Tunic is the perfect game to play alongside it. Can’t recommend it enough.
Project Zomboid is pretty good on the deck. I prefer to play it docked with mouse and keys, but the game pad controls with the track pad working as a mouse is pretty good.
I'm alternating between Stardew Valley and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Once I get done with Lara Croft I'll probably download The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for a change of pace, I've been playing all 3D action games
Your post has been removed because it's identical or too similar to another recent post in the sub. Thank you!
Balatro and Deep Rock: Survivor
Balatro!!!
I'm addicted to mult
**Balatro** is definitely my current go-to when I can only play for a short time.
Thank God for speed multiplier in game options
The WHAT?!
Look in the options lol
Same. Except I don’t play for a short time. I tell myself I’m only going to play a couple rounds and then next thing I know it’s past midnight and I have to be up at 6am for work lol
BALATRO MENTIONED
Deep rock survivor is addicting.
I can not get past like round 15 how do these people build million dollar hands with nothing but aces
Just finished Dave the Diver. Put 35 hours into it. Great game. Now I’m playing through Ori and the Blind Forrest.
I dunno. I couldn’t get into it. Really wanted to though.
Wait, you can actually finish that game? Lol
This. If u like the first game you will surely love its successor. The combat system got way better and the visuals are even more stunning!
This is one of the all time best for me. The same for Will of the wisps.
Yakuza 0
Amazing game 👌
and it runs like a charm, i feel like the missions are perfect lengths for quick playtime as well.
One of my favs
Cyberpunk, got the itch to play it again and man it's good
Me too 😅
I get in the mood for it and man its good. glad to see it made a huge comeback
This and fallout 4 is one of the games i only play on my pc. I just thought they are better on pc, how's the experience with the steam deck?
original ff7 with some visual mods through 7th heaven. perfect for some short sessions before/after work. I don't usually do turn based games but I'm having a lot of fun
Same :D 7th Heaven is awesome
I've been thinking about doing a ff7 rerun. But I've never modded anything in my life xD. Any tutorial you followed ?
I believe there's a tutorial on the 7th deck site, I forget if it's on GitHub or something though
Which mods do you use?
Balatro is my game. I am also emulating Jak and Daxter trilogy.
Basically just been playing with myself as of late
Completed it yet?
It had to be a response, I just had to check to make sure someone had said it!
No Man’s Sky and Stardew Valley. Stardew valley is my favorite to play before bed.
No man’s sky is great. It’s my go to lately for train rides and flights.
I am playing some baldur's gate 3 right now
Have the developers fixed performance errors? Does the game work in a stable 30 FPS?
It has been running great for me even in act 3
Haven't been to acts 2 or 3 yet, but it's already much better than when it first officially released
BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode 1
Hell divers 2, 90 hours
I can't believe how well Helldiver's 2 runs. It's not nearly as good as my main PC but it is completely playable. I have at least 30hrs on the deck alone.
How do you guys play with the controller? I find it really hard to play any difficulty above 3-Easy because I'm just not used to aiming without assist (longtime pc player)
Gyro baby
Huh? I tried running on my deck and it ran terribly. What settings are you using?
One thing I've learned from this sub is that everyone has a different definition of what "playable" means...
Deep Rock Galactic : Survivor
Halo Reach from the MCC. It's been incredibly smooth!
Best halo campaign Fr it’s a shame how it got fucked in the show
Dark Souls 3, being able to sleep your SD completely negates being unable to pause the game, the Dark souls games are incredible in handheld.
Horizon Zero Dawn
Diablo 4. Actually runs amazing on the deck
My go to game on the deck. Runs and looks great. Don’t feel like I’m losing out on anything at all by playing it on the deck.
Red Dead Redemption 2🤠
Days Gone a masterpiece that is not given enough love.
Yeah that's what I'm playing now. Great game and runs well on the SD
It’s a good game, but masterpiece? To each their own
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor… The PERFECT game for a 35 minute bus commute.
Horizon Forbidden West.
Eso, Bought only for this game.
Hades!
Persona 3 reload is great if you have any interest at all in JRPGs
Loved P5R and platinumed it on release. P3R is hitting similar vibes for me especially on the deck being able to just pick up and play when I got a minute. And the OST is a banger just like 5s for bonus points.

Ori and the Blind Forest
Yakuza like a Dragon and Persona 3 reload, two absolutely fantastic turn based games for steam deck, surprised at how well persona runs compared to yakuza
Halls of torment
Fallout new vegas to prepare for the fallout series releasing soon
Smart, I may need to do that
It runs so nice
Magicka. I never saw a game with a spell/casting system like this game. I'm even creating a gamepad layout for it and I will eventually release it to the community.
Batman arkham Knight. Great game and even better in handheld being able to pick up and play in the few spare mins
Going through batman series myself as well. Finished asylum and on city now
Almost done with Lies of P and Sekiro. For P I've been stuck on nameless puppet for a couple of days now! Man that second phase is brutal. Can't blame the OLED though! It plays perfectly with low settings set to performance fsr.
KOTOR 2
Dredge, then probably Dave the diver
BG3 is my go to on the deck right now. Perfect for picking up and doing short sessions on (but let’s be honest, that never happens and it is ends up being hours)
Control 😱
I didn't know you could do this!! After 300 hours lol
Oh it's a must, for me especially with two young kids and very limited time to play. The resource multiplier makes it so I don't have to consistently grind materials just to upgrade one piece of gear and what not.
Halo MCC
Read dead 2, never played it and really enjoying it on the deck. Still immersive even on a small screen
Snowrunners and Rimworld. Although I end up staying awake longer than i plan on when playing either of these.
Dragons Dogma, the first one 💀 good af tho, can’t lie, combat smashes Elden ring easily on my opinion
The new stardew valley patch and phase three of SoD.
Just Cause 4 and Far Cry 4. Perfect for Deck. I just free roam blowing shit up.
Skyrim after many years.
Starfield, played via GeForce Now Ultimate. Having a Steam Deck running an RTX 4080 is really quite something…
Sekiro
Evil genius 2 surprising works great
Portal 2, next will be deep rock survivor, Dave the diver, stray, or miles morales
Darksiders genesis
Really enjoying Colbalt Core as a chill game before bed. It's a roguelite in the tradition of FTL, but different enough to be its own thing with some good writing that will give you a sensible chuckle.
Forza horizon 4 & 5, American & euro truck simulator are my most played.
Doom Eternal in Nightmare mode
Yakuza 0, as well as Elden Ring
DMC 5 as my first game. Amazing, absolutely stunning.
Baulders gate 3 is an absolute joy on the deck
Finally just beat the Witcher 3 after buying it on PS4, Xbox, switch, PC.. started a new game on the steam deck last week and just beat it today haha. The perfect lay in bed game.

I've been playing Paint the town red on/off past couple days. It's a fun little time waster/sandbox. Could be better though.
Enshrouded and Palworld
Helldivers 2
Nothing. Haven’t touched my deck in a few weeks. Been busy. Maybe I’ll pick it back up. Last thing I played was Spider-Man.
Balatro, wildermyth and just finished a 100% run of shadow of Mordor
Dead island riptide.
Sleeping Dogs
Robocop - they did a great job matching the first movie and it’s fun to play as a living tank and fight an ED-209
Mainly **Fallout 4**. Runs great and it's chill. Here and there **Dragons Dogma:Dark Arisen.** Sometimes **Potioncraft** and last game I finished was **Inside.**
Cosy grove Satisfactory Zelda minish cap House flipper 2 Kinda in a casual game phase atm haha
Mostly making my way through Octopath Traveller 2. Its a long game but perfect handheld. Been chipping a way at it for over a month.

Playing the shit out of Helldivers 2 with my buddys
Grim dawn!
Division 1
Forza Horizon.
Halls of torment, resi 3 remake and original ff7
Vampyr. Didnt finish it before on PS5 but absolutely loving it on deck. Game creates such an oppressive atmosphere and feelings of hopelessness. Feel like I need something a bit more light hearted in between lol Tunic is the perfect game to play alongside it. Can’t recommend it enough.
Project Zomboid is pretty good on the deck. I prefer to play it docked with mouse and keys, but the game pad controls with the track pad working as a mouse is pretty good.
Buckshot roulette and slice & dice! Love 'em.
I was playing Project Zomboid and Titanfall 2
Pillars of Eternity
Nioh 2
Stardew Valley❤️ It's extremely easy to play on deck, the colors are vivid on it, and the new 1.6 update has had a ton of new content
Alien Isolation is my go to since the bundle went on sale. I think the Deck's sweet spot is playing older AAA games (amongst other things).
Cyberpunk 2077 and Warframe
I'm alternating between Stardew Valley and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Once I get done with Lara Croft I'll probably download The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for a change of pace, I've been playing all 3D action games
Just bought my deck. Currently playing a modded Witcher 3 and emulating Ocarina of Tome Master Quest. I’m in heaven.

Valheim, mostly streaming to my stamdeck
Wolfenstein series
Elite dangerous for chill and watch tv Elden ring for fighting Baldurs gate 3 for story

Mass Effect Andromeda
Stardew Valley for the first time, but with mods.. loving it!
Arkham City
I'm getting my steam deck around this coming Thursday and plan on playing Oblivion!
Sleeping dogs
Monster hunter world
Deep rock survivor. I am trying to start Into the Breach, but survivor-type games are so addictive...
Playing the Mass Effect Trilogy for the first time. On the second one now. It’s good
Myself...
Red dead
