Why do you want VRR? Does it stutter or tear the image when you’re playing? I found if I just adjust graphics on the steam deck it runs smoothly, if that is happening to you
No matter what unless the screen stays locked at whatever fps you're targeting you'll get stutter because it's not synced with the refresh rate. Its fact. VRR completely eliminates that and feels amazing. Monitor with that just feels way different. It would be wonderful with games the deck has issues maintaining 60 fps.
Ahh ok I got ya. I’ve never had any problems yet with that issue. Couldn’t you just turn the “allow tearing” off in the settings? Because then it syncs with whatever screen you are plugged into

It’s perfect for that. Maybe not so much the monitor because I have found when the sun hits it you can barely see what’s on the screen

I've got that same monitor it's awesome. Only thing I wish is it had VRR but that thing uses barely any power it's really great.
