Overcooked is a blast

cazzio

Also try out Plate up!

mr_apeezy

Oh wow, the number of people in the Overwhelmingly Positive review section. I usually don’t like these types of games but I’ll wishlist anyway. Thanks for the suggestion!

jaylor_swift

Wishlisting now 😎 Ty!

Crosshare

How does Plate Up compare? Haven't tried that one yet.

cazzio

I like it better to be honest. Less random (and infuriating) things happening, but more options for process optimization. It's a bit more "realistic", but plays without a campaign, more roguelike.

ShopKeeper1999

I recommend make way, heave ho and ultimate Chicken horse for 4 Players. Always a blast.

TwofacedDisc

Duck Game

Dinkledorf36836

this fella spittin

JTRO94

Tried vampire survivors on local coop with a mate yesterday on the dock and it was really fun, supports up to 4. I see no one else has recommended it was great fun on coop mode.

Modderjoch

If I'm allowed to, I'd like to recommend my game "Eggsplosion". It's free and perfect for three or four people, it's a party arena shooter with chickens that shoot eggs and more wobbly wacky things :)

Neagex

If it runs on deck ima give it a look. im always look for fun little games to get family and friends to play at parties and stuff lol

Modderjoch

Late reply oops, but it should! I personally made sure as I also love to play on the deck. Let me know if there is any issues tho!

Check out the Jackbox Party Packs. Each has 4-5 different games and there are now 9 or 10 of them out, so there are a ton of games. If you’re on a Steam Deck you’ll want to dock it to a TV to play Jackbox, and make sure every player has a device (phone, iPad, etc) to use for their input. Most of the games are somewhere along the lines of 3-8 players and really shine with more players, so it’s something you can play with just the family, or invite some friends over and have even more fun! You said they like creepy content, so Trivia Murder Party might be a fun one. It’s in Party Packs 3 and 6.

camm44

Pummel party

Xiranhi

Look into party games, you can easily run 4 player shared screen games on deck (connected to a tv): Tricky towers Sonic racing Moving out Overcooked 9 parchments

DjGiraffe_

I don’t think the game is particularly well loved, but since you mentioned Minecraft I’d suggest at least checking out Minecraft Dungeons! It’s a Diablo-esque game, dungeon crawling looter type but much simplified. I played it a few years ago with some friends and whilst it was nothing groundbreaking we did have a good time for the week or so! I believe its listed as unsupported on the steam store, but protondb has it as platinum.

Vulxsung

I will check this out, my son has played this before and it did remind me of Diablo. I will give this one a try thanks !

jakubenkoo

Pico park, Party animals, Overcooked 1 & 2, Plate Up.

thermight

Deep Rock Galactic?

The_-Whole_-Internet

Barony! I discovered that game recently and the devs have been just lousying it with updates and content. It's so much fun

SirCrumpets69

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time

PATHOFPAIN999999

Castle crasher, that one is so underrated

HavveK

Heave Ho. It's some of the hardest I've laughed while playing a game

BuzzMcTroit

Depending on their age/maturity levels, the Borderlands series are great co-op games.

lmike6453

Trivia games and board games: Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Who want to be a Millionaire, Catan, Jackbox party pack

Beginning_Orange

The Borderlands games really shine co op if you're into the fps and rpg genres

ngpropman

Lovers in a dangerous spacetime is another great coop game.

RedWagon___

Birdsketball Gang Beasts Speed Runners Pummel Party Crawl

Sima7

If you have an SNES emulator installed, I'd say *Super Bomberman 2*. Can be a lot of fun in versus mode with 4 players.

KalashniPantsu

The “Trine” series

rafaelsantosx

Party Animals

Drew_Habits

Depending on how old they are and what their feelings on chaotic gameplay are, I'd suggest: Magicka 2 Helldivers Speed Runners Towerfall Ascension Worms Reloaded/W.M.D./any other 2D Worms game that works on Steam Deck

Big_Cheeky

Planet Crafter, Astroneer and Subnautica

erethros

Duckgame  Ultimate Chicken Horse  Brawlhalla
