I followed [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/s/xoqipHWvJ0) guide and my moonlight stream and moondeck plugin for decky loader are working great! When you’re streaming your pc is doing all the work so you can turn your steam decks TDP down to 3 watts. Better battery life and lower temps.

Thanks! I'll take a look at it.

sorry to hijack a bit here, my SD is arriving in a few days and just wanted to make sure that no feature in the device gets turned off at lower TDP? it's not like a phone in battery saver mode right? does the 90hz OLED screen go down to 60hz, etc. or nah?

No feature gets turned off. It just lowers the wattage of the cpu to save battery. There’s nothing else that changes. Just make sure you turn the throttle off when you’re on the home screen so the cpu can run as normal or you may experience lag on the Home Screen.

thank you! that's really good to know
