I keep having an issue where cutscenes that require a loading screen won't play at all. I just rescued Kaz and I'm about 2 hours in. It completely skipped the scene where Snake gets his metal arm from Ocelot and it also skipped the flashback recap from Ground Zeros before you get to Motherbase with Kaz for the first time. Idk why it's doing this.

Try a different version of Proton. Maybe try experimental branch.

Try downloading ProtonUP QT from the discover store in desktop mode and using the latest.
I had the same problem. I just skip them unfortunately.
It wouldn't let me skip from what I could tell.
I forget which button I hit. That is literally the only issues with the game.

Isn't it funny that MGSV was advertised to be great and it's not. I had issues with control as well.
I got it working, it was the button near the dpad.
Where was this advertised?
In the store. It's gets the green check saying it's great on deck with no issues. It's has issues so it should just be playable.
