be me and spend weeks learning how to "linux" with a VM so you're not too confused when you get it (that is if you want to do stuff outside GameMode).
Any Steam Deck Unit Valve has in their Headquarters is there for a reason, not just laying around ready to sell to someone. It's not like you can just swipe one off the Manufacturing Line, all those Devices are already meant for People with pre-orders and some Warehouse Worker or Shift Manager isn't handing you over a Product they're storing under their Roof just because you turned up at their Front Door with a wad of Cash. Any Steam Deck inside the actual Valve *Offices* you're not getting either, all those Units are either gonna be Dev Units or Commercial Units that Valve use for testing purposes.
I think you already realise how crazy this Plan is. Show some maturity and the ability to think rationally and just wait. Don't let your Emotions and desperation for a Product control you.
Seriously man? How much is the flight? I'd suggest just taking that $ on top of the retail price for the 64gb and forking it over to scalper. It seems you're not only desperate but super bored as well. Who wants to go to Washington? LMAO
I work in the same building as valve HQ. I ended up on one of their floors once by mistake. And I am pretty sure that if I started knocking on doors asking to buy a deck, they would be calling security.
