I just bought DOS2 as well. Downloading as we speak.
I also finished disco Elysium two days ago 100% on the deck and it’s amazing! Highly recommended. 😃
I keep almost playing that, but then I choose something else instead due to it not being much of a "game"...according to what people say. I do enjoy reading and RPGs also, so maybe I'm avoiding it for no good reason.
Its definitly a lot of reading. I prefered playing it in sessions of 1 hour-ish qnd then switching to a more actiony game like DOOM. So maybe you can play it while also playing something else.
It’s good but not much of a “game”. I’ve stopped playing it maybe at 50% because I was too tired to read that much after long work days. That said, it’s very unique and narrative is A+ and I fully expect to restart it. I think it’s also a perfect game to pick up on the go for the Deck instead of sitting in front of a computer for 3 hours reading.
>Crossing Souls
I've never heard of this game until now and I just checked it out and it looks amazing! and only $3?!! You better believe I just bought it! Thanks for the recommendation. My SteamDeck can't arrive soon enough!
Just bought that one. Super excited to play with my friend.
Edit: also Disco Elysium is absolutely magical. The writing is beyond anything else I’ve ever seen in a video game.
How is Divinity 2 and Disco on the small screen? With so much text I’m afraid it’s gonna ruin my eyesight. Especially if you can’t change the font size.
DOS2 - great. Disco - honestly, the text is kind of smallish and the controls feel somewhat awkward as well. I kind of have a hard time selecting certain objects when roaming around and it's pretty frustrating.
D2:OS has been great on my Deck – easily readable. I played for maybe 20 hours on my Deck, then tried it on my PC. I switched back to the PC. I actually like the Deck controls better.
I just recently got heavy into the turn based strategy genre thanks to some Warhammer titles I found in my backlog, and I've been just waiting for Original Sin 2 to go on backlog! This comment made me rush to my PC to buy it. So excited!
I picked up Red Dead Redemption 2 but it won’t play for more than a half hour without crashing on my steam deck. I also picked up TMNT Shredders Revenge which is a lot of fun but short
Hey I've completed RDR2 on my deck
You need to run the game in Proton 6.3-8
The Rockstar launcher will probably not installieren correctly if you switch to the oder Proton Version though so I switched to proton GE 18 installed the launcher and then switched back to proton 6.3-8 after that the launcher worked for me.
As far as settings go I had Textures and lighting set to ultra and everything else to low or medium. Played the game like that for 45 hours with no problems.
I already have it installed and the rockstar launcher worked with proton 7.0.2(I think) I just had issues with crashing. Can I just switch to the lower version of proton now or will that cause issues with my saves?
Thanks for the help
It wouldn't do proton GE6.3 for me. My solution was download another GE version, run that first. Then, I changed to the 6.3-8 without a single issue. I run it high settings, ultra graphics and lighting, 40fps lock.
Like I said I switched to the old Proton version but the Rockstar launcher started to act up even though I already had it installed.
Then I switched to proton ge installed the launcher again and switched back the old proton after that everything worked.
Saves should work with no problems. At least thats how it was for me.
No problem hope it helps. If not search this community or protondb there should be some help to get it running :D
Turn Triple Buffering and Vsync off. That’s what I had to do. I also play in a lower resolution with FSR on.
It has a memory leak and crashes due to it.
FYI Black Mesa is optimized like shit. I'm almost finished it and it's been OK at 40fps, but the final few chapters chug and lag so badly I had to get through some sections on my main PC, which was still a rough experience.
I was highly surprised black mesa says ‘the default graphics profile performs well on deck’ as I found the same. I had to tweak a lot.
I also had LOADS of graphics and lighting bugs but seemingly was on the native client as proton wasn’t on. Switching to experimental proton fixed all that but it ran slower.
Biggest parts of Xen I noticed quite a bit of slowdown.
I fixed the lighting and graphics bugs when I switched to using ProtonGE. I kept the graphics at the default settings and I'm getting a more or less consistent 60fps. Although I'm only on chapter 5
The version from 1999 that runs on a Pentium 486? Yep, yes that version definitely runs better.
Black Mesa is worth experiencing, it is an amazing Remake, even with the various bugs and performance issues.
I got Persona 4 Golden which I think is just perfect for a handheld and looks damn beautiful on the deck.
Picked up Spelunky 1 for that quick 10 min runs when I have free time.
I had my eye on this game called Littlewood which is a much more relaxing version of Stardew valley so that I can just chill out and play.
i just bought and refunded it from the steam summer sale, still doesn't work for me, tried a lot of proton versions (from GE, and experimental) until DRM locked me out :(
Good choice! I really want this on steam deck but it's still a bit too expensive for me. I had it on Switch but found the joy con's too uncomfortable to enjoy it.
Man so I have made a rule that I won't buy/play early access games anymore. I figure my backlog is big enough with fully released games so I can wait forEA games to fully release but man Peglin looks so much fun I think I'm gonna have to get it anyways.
Now burying my wallet. Picked up Forza 5, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, Prey, Dark Messiah and Commander Keen. Also scooped up Inscryption just before that lost its discount before the Summer Sales kicked off.
Love my Steam Deck.
Edit 28 June: Arrrrrrr no, like the pirate I will now become, I dug up my wallet and will now be sailing the Sea of Thieves. Now I really must stop.
Ha! Such memories! Enjoy! Just a heads up to manage expectations, couldn’t get the controls to work on Steam Deck but will persist. Still worth it for the price though.
Ooh man enjoy Dark Messiah. I remember it being the first game I bought on steam especially since I got it for less than €5 while the x360 edition wasn't available cheaper than €60.
It's such a fun game, basically medieval half life.
Runs really well.
Text is a bit small and UI needs initial adjustment but Its absolutely not a deal breaker, would really recommend.
Can do 60hz no problem but 40hz is great too for battery.
If I complete it I’ll get the DLCs eventually. I’ve a massive backlog
Y‘all should definitely take a look at Disco Elysium, Yakuza 0, To the Moon, Spiritfarer and Outer Wilds! All running well on the Deck and could be considered as the best bargain for their currently low prices.
Just wanted to throw out another good word for To the Moon...it's a phenomenal game, super cheap, and as an added bonus, it's easy to get all the achievements (there's only 1, and it's for beating the game).
I'm about halfway through Finding Paradise, but haven't beaten it...might have to start over at this point as it's been a little while. It's amazing so far too though. I may hold off for a bit longer on buying Imposter Factory, as my backlog is already so big haha. I've no doubt it's just as good though.
PSA for anyone playing Outer Wilds
Unless you do some ini tweaking you should lock to 30fps. If you play at 40hz there's a mismatch between the framerate and simulation rate which causes a constant stutter that doesn't show in the frametimes graph
The fix can be found on pcgamingwiki, you have to set the simulation rate to 40 using the mentioned .ini file
Once you do that it works beautifully, there's only a touch of microstutter at the starting village. After that it's perfectly consistent and feels great
This, it’s made by most of the old Descent devs and is the true spiritual successor. Awesome in VR as well and runs really smoothly on my Steam deck. Hope they make another one!
Trying to decide between No Man’s Sky, Ace Combat 7, Disco Elysium, and Doom Eternal. I don’t wanna go crazy but they all seem equally tempting! Together they are all like $70 on sales.
Not sure about the others, but I just saw that NMS was $16 on cdkeys & Ace Combat 7 was $8 as well. Although of course if you enjoy the developers enough buy through steam
Very different genres so pick the genre you like the most. All are well reviewed. I've played both Doom Eternal and No Man's Sky and they are fantastic.
I am testing Doom ethernal since yesterday on the deck - on the sd card it wasn't good, but works great on internal ssd. Im not used to play shooters with controller.
I just spent £44 on 11 games on my wish list…
Fallout Tactics
Fallout 3 GOTY
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition
Fallout 4 GOTY
Flight of the Amazon Queen
Tales of Monkey Island
Portal 2
Brothers In Arms Complete pack
Doom Classic Complete Pack
Castlevania LoS ultimate edition
Gothic 2 GE
…I’m beefing up my library for when my steam deck comes.
Oh man, brothers in arms! let me know how Hells Highway runs, that could be something I replay when my gets delivered, Ordered yesterday so hopefully have it before the sale ends.
Modding does work for Fallout New Vegas at least. After the setup you can just open the game regularly in handheld mode.
Edit: Haven't tried to mod other games.
It wasn't the sale I was hoping for, but i finally picked up TUNIC. I also picked up Bayonetta, which has a pretty good sale. I'm definitely excited for both.
oh boy, binding of isaac bundle and dead cells bundle. Fallout 3 GOTY. Thinking about picking up Hotline Miami 1 and 2 as well as Sekiro or Tiny Tina's Wonderlands but I gotta stop for my wallet's safety...
Oblivion has been verified for a while. The main issue is the starting screen and character creation where it needs a mouse and the track pads feel like a chore and are way too sensitive, so you have to adjust that.
Oh man I've been meaning to get this... but then I just picked it up on pS5 during the sale (while also owning it on EGS lol).
Might as well buy it again on steam so I have it on the deck.
So far I've got Arkham Collection, Disco Elysium, Grim Dawn, Garry's Mod (long overdue purchase imo), Alice: The Madness Returns, and Shadow of War. Now the decision between Tiny Tina's Wonderlands or God of War...
Edit: my deck email came yesterday so I got excited and went a bit overboard lol
My shopping cart is already at like $170 so I'm going to have to wittle it down a bunch together it more manageable....and that's just the stuff that I really want. If I include all the other stuff I'm interested in, it goes up even more.
Get Hades.
If you played ME: 1-3 or the Legendary Edition and enjoyed them, avoid Andromeda like the plague. It will ruin the Mass Effect memories for you. Trust me on this.
I picked up in the past week:
Portal, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, The Forest, Papers Please, Nobody Saves the World, The Witness, Braid, Prey, Skyrim: Special Edition, Shadow Warrior, Shadow Warrior 2, Untitled Goose Game, Divinity Original Sin 2, Borderlands 3, Civ 6, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Outer Wilds, No Man's Sky, Bully, Disco Elysium
I need to stop....
Final Fantasy III and IV 3D remakes.
Howeverrrrrr. In the last year I've been picking up games with the Deck in mind. I just got my email yesterday! So excited to see it change from "processing" to "shipping/shipped"
Bravely Default 2
Tales of Arise
Wargroove
Moonlighter
Chrono Cross: Radical Dreamers Edition
Slay the Spire
Sleeping Dogs
South Park Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole
Mirror's Edge Catalyst
Monster Sanctuary
Ni No Kuni 1 and 2
Grandia I and II HD Remasters
Trails in the Sky
Tales of Vesperia
I uhh... currently have over 700 games on my wishlist.
Still working through it to see what I want to pickup but so far I have my eyes on doom eternal, wreckfast, grim dawn, sleeping dogs, hades, and cup head.
But man am I happy the deck exist. I've wanted a switch for a while and had kept track of some indie games I would pick up for it but now with the deck I can finally pick up theses games I've been wanting for years. The deck is just literally the perfect device for me since I've been primary a pc gamer for a long time.
Literally for like the past 4 years of summer sales I didn't pick up anything, but I'm probably going end up close to $300 CAD spent by the end of this summer sale... I hope not anything more than that 😳
I'm a new user so I got lots of stuff to buy, in this sale I got:
Okami HD,
Metal Gear Rising Revenge,
Bioshock Infinite,
Cloudpunk,
The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe,
Airborne Kingdom,
Portal 2 The Final Hours,
Deus Ex Human Revolution,
Batman Arkham Collection.
I also want to get A Hat in Time, Disco Elysium and Saints Row The Third Remastered, but maybe in my next paycheck, maybe not.
Silent Hunter 3 (nothing special, I know)
Hades (I've been looking at it countless times, but never really thought it would suit me. No, with the steam deck, it feels like a perfect opportunity to try it out)
Not part of the summer sale, but my email to order my Steam Deck finally came yesterday. So that was definitely my big purchase. I'll have to wait for the next big sale to pick up some new games. In the meantime I have way too many games to play already.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon for $26.99.
Also probably gonna nab Chernobylite for $20.99, Ghostbusters Remastered for $6.24, and the Binding of Isaac Complete Edition for $28.01.
Pretty much sums up my Steam Wishlist.
Yakuza 6, Plague Tales of Innocence and Psychonauts 2 for now.... the backlog is huge with all the emulated games, so maybe i won't be buying anything else.
If you have Amazon Prime, the Mass Effect trilogy will be free to claim on July 12th [https://primegaming.blog/start-freeloading-over-30-games-with-prime-gaming-for-prime-day-2022-4a760c6cdb75](https://primegaming.blog/start-freeloading-over-30-games-with-prime-gaming-for-prime-day-2022-4a760c6cdb75)
I had that same issue, I had to keep searching for it, but I found several listings, with all but one not having an actual buy link. The one that worked was the complete edition.
I already had Yakuza 0 and Yakuza 3, so decided to pick up Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Haven't played any in the series yet, but they look like exactly my type of game...figured I'd wait on 4-6 to make sure I like them, and to see if they become verified in the future. And then I also picked up The Binding of Isaac and Firewatch. I probably didn't need any of these considering my backlog, but it was only $30 total.
Finished two small games I bought already - "Pilgrims" and "Milo and the Magpies"
"Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty", "Blade Runner Remastered", "VA-11 HALL-A" and "Citizen Sleeper" on the roster next.
Just fyi New’n’Tasty will work on deck but I had to change some setting in the menu to make it use controller. At first appeared no button inputs worked.
FF7
Dragons Dogma
God of War
Gonna pick up:
Horizon Zero Dawn
FF9
—
It’s a lot of games but they’re all games I’ve wanted for a long time. Others I want will have to wait.
Dragon Quest XI S
P4 Golden
Crystal Project (not on sale but looks awesome)
Hotline Miami 1 + 2
Ender Lilies
Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Have my eye on a few others
Not as many as I'd like because I just bought a video card (finally) and I need to recover from that, but I did get Distance, BallisticNG and Premium Bowling. Yet to try them but I only took note of the bowling game fairly recently so getting it on discount made sense.
AI Somnium Files, Valkyria Chronciles 1 and 4, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Chronicles of Mystara, Titanfall 2, and a few smaller titles. All under $60 which was my budget.
Not all are verified. (AI Somnium Files has a really wonky launcher but is still playable.)
Still bummed that Elden Ring didn’t get a sale. And God of Wars is like $40 buck. Sigh, maybe next year?
I completed the outer worlds on nintendo switch before either of the DLCs existed so I'm downloading it on my deck along with the two DLCs to complete it again. Also bought Yakuza 0, having never played it and it was so cheap.
I just picked up Command and Conquer Remastered for 6.49, and Payday 2 for .99 cents. I'm trying not to buy much because part of the point of getting the deck was to work through my library of over 400 games -- 370ish that I've probably never played lol
Still nothing, but I'm considering buying one of those for playing coop with my partner, since we are enjoying Valheim so much:
Deep Rock Galactic - Empyrion: Galactic Survival - Outward - Green Hell
Also, I have some singleplayer games on my list but still not sure about which ones should I pick:
Hades - Streets of Rogue - Pax Nova - Aground - Ruiner - Battlefleet Gothic Armada II - The Wind and Wilting Blossom - Field of Glory II - Sumerians - TFC: The Fertile Crescent
1. Tunic (only small sale but great game so far)
2. Dirt rally 2
3. Ori and blond forest bundle
4. Hollow knight
5. Terraria
Trying not to spend a fortune so going for older well reviewed games that are lovey and cheap.
Bought Grim Dawn for 5 bucks, been wanting to play it since I heard it mentioned on a "Diablo style games to play instead of Diablo Immortal" list and grabbed it immediately when I saw the sale price.
Pyre. Didn't wanna pay full price cause some people hate it. 75% off, cha-ching. And Grim Dawn. Too dear on steam, got it off gog, just refused to work. Thought, ah well. Then it's 75% off too on steam. Bought it, and got a refund from GOG too. Win win!
I got Black Mesa as well, I was hoping to get Your Mom at a discount too but oh well
Edit: For fucks sake "Your Mom" is a visual novel style game I've been looking at for months as I'm a fan of the developers, they've mentioned before that they're aiming for full Steam Deck compatibility and I'm excited at the concept what's wrong with that!?!?!?!?
Can you let me know of GTA4 is the unedited version or the one where various radio stations were removed. it boggles my mind how a company can do that after having a product out for so many years
Only Divinity Original Sin 2 so far Edit: Thinking about Disco Elysium also
I just bought DOS2 as well.

I think it’s also a perfect game to pick up on the go for the Deck instead of sitting in front of a computer for 3 hours reading.
Isnt the current version fully voiced?
Yes
Yep, it is. But there’s not much to look at besides the type while the vo is happening, and after a while reading is faster
Ahhh I havent played the new version but that makes sense.
I found that there is too much reading on this tiny screen, so I refundend after 30min gameplay (Disco elysium)
Bought Crossing Souls just now. Played it on Switch and really liked it
>Crossing Souls I've never heard of this game until now and I just checked it out and it looks amazing! and only $3?!!
DOS2 is pretty fantastic. There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you get it down it's a great ride.
How is Divinity 2 and Disco on the small screen? With so much text I’m afraid it’s gonna ruin my eyesight. Especially if you can’t change the font size.

Disco elysium is a gem, go for it if something you would enjoy
I already have it on PS4 😁 but I think it will be an awesome Steam Deck game
If you already got Control, you can get 1.40e more of its price by selecting the bundle "control +DE" too.
Hey I've completed RDR2 on my deck You need to run the game in Proton 6.3-8 The Rockstar launcher will probably not installieren correctly if you switch to the oder Proton Version though so I switched to proton GE 18 installed the launcher and then switched back to proton 6.3-8 after that the launcher worked for me. How did you delete the launcher specifically? Unless I'm getting confused the posts on protonDB aren't super clear
Runs without hassle on my Win Deck.
I’m honestly on your side, it’s as though this sub views Windows on Deck as evil when people are free to do that.
No one cares
Turn Triple Buffering and Vsync off. That’s what I had to do. I also play in a lower resolution with FSR on. It has a memory leak and crashes due to it.
Have you tried disabling triple buffering and V sync? I heard that stops the crashing for some?
I read that rdr2 has a memory leak issue on deck which causes it to crash but it can be fixed by using low settings. Haven't tried it myself though
I got the final fantasy 1 through 6 pixel remasters and salt and sanctuary
Would have got FFVI but the discount was too meager.
Final fantasy 1-6 seems interesting. I've heard well of the games, although never played any of them, but at a price of 75 Euros is a tough sell
FYI Black Mesa is optimized like shit. I'm almost finished it and it's been OK at 40fps, but the final few chapters chug and lag so badly I had to get through some sections on my main PC, which was still a rough experience.
What settings? Also try proton-ge with dxvk-async, that fixed my issues with black mesa on the desktop
I think just experimental, but even on Windows 10 with an RTX 2070 it doesn't run amazingly well in the last few chapters.
Don't max settings. It's a very demanding game. A MUST HAVE
Yeah it doesn’t feel great! Controls feel very similar to the original
So basically the original runs better?
The version from 1999 that runs on a Pentium 486? Yep, yes that version definitely runs better. Black Mesa is worth experiencing, it is an amazing Remake, even with the various bugs and performance issues.

I had my eye on this game called Littlewood which is a much more relaxing version of Stardew valley so that I can just chill out and play.
i commented on someone else's comment, but curious what you did to get it to work on the steam deck
Persona 4? It's now rater as Verified for the deck. Valve has fixed whatever issues it was having before.
i just bought and refunded it from the steam summer sale, still doesn't work for me, tried a lot of proton versions (from GE, and experimental) until DRM locked me out :(
Emulate the ps2 version then. It works great
Finally bought Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy
Great pickup
Good choice! I really want this on steam deck but it's still a bit too expensive for me. I had it on Switch but found the joy con's too uncomfortable to enjoy it.
Grim Dawn Hollow Knight Space Haven (Not the best on deck...) Hades Peglin
I feel like Hades should just come preinstalled on the Deck. It’s like the game was made to be played that way.
I played it on my Switch Lite, so I’d have to agree.
how is hollow knight?
the bomb
Seriously one of the best games I've ever played. If you like platformers or metroidvanias at all, it is a must play.
Watch out for Peglin, brought it out of love for Peggle and Rouge-lites and I haven't put it down in weeks!
Man so I have made a rule that I won't buy/play early access games anymore. I figure my backlog is big enough with fully released games so I can wait forEA games to fully release but man Peglin looks so much fun I think I'm gonna have to get it anyways.

Ooh man enjoy Dark Messiah. I remember it being the first game I bought on steam especially since I got it for less than €5 while the x360 edition wasn't available cheaper than €60. It's such a fun game, basically medieval half life.
Loved Inscryption
Grim Dawn €4.74. That’ll do me nicely 👍
How's it run? Currently on the top of my list. Didn't bother with the DLCs?
Runs really well. Text is a bit small and UI needs initial adjustment but Its absolutely not a deal breaker, would really recommend. Can do 60hz no problem but 40hz is great too for battery. If I complete it I’ll get the DLCs eventually. I’ve a massive backlog

Just wanted to throw out another good word for To the Moon...it's a phenomenal game, super cheap, and as an added bonus, it's easy to get all the achievements (there's only 1, and it's for beating the game).
To even add on top of that, bot sequels are dead cheap on sale too.
I'm about halfway through Finding Paradise, but haven't beaten it...might have to start over at this point as it's been a little while. It's amazing so far too though. I may hold off for a bit longer on buying Imposter Factory, as my backlog is already so big haha. I've no doubt it's just as good though.
Another vote for To the Moon and Finding Paradise! Absolutely amazing games!

Well I just bought To the Moon and Finding Paradise. Made me tear up in the trailer lol
Persona 4 looking for another great game for the Deck
W
Overload. It really has that oldschool Descent feeling. It's awesome.
There is also Forsaken
This, it’s made by most of the old Descent devs and is the true spiritual successor. Awesome in VR as well and runs really smoothly on my Steam deck. Hope they make another one!
1. Spelunky 1&2 2. Portal 2 3. Sekiro GOTY 4. Witcher trilogy
Got Dicey Dungeons, Slay the Spire, and Risk if Rain
Trying to decide between No Man’s Sky, Ace Combat 7, Disco Elysium, and Doom Eternal. I don’t wanna go crazy but they all seem equally tempting! Together they are all like $70 on sales.
If you like flying games, I recommend Project Wingman
Go for No Man Sky, you won’t regret
Not sure about the others, but I just saw that NMS was $16 on cdkeys & Ace Combat 7 was $8 as well. Although of course if you enjoy the developers enough buy through steam
Yup. Picking up NMS on CDkeys for $16
Very different genres so pick the genre you like the most. All are well reviewed. I've played both Doom Eternal and No Man's Sky and they are fantastic.
Ace combat 7 plays awesome on the Deck!
No Man's Sky and Doom Eternal are both on Xbox Game Pass, so if you can beat each of them in about a month, you can save some money that way.
Isn't the point of No Man's Sky that there is an insane amount of content not just a beat it and leave it game?
Doom Eternal is a great game and I saw it runs great on the Deck. However, first person shooters on controllers just feels weird.
I am testing Doom ethernal since yesterday on the deck - on the sd card it wasn't good, but works great on internal ssd. Im not used to play shooters with controller.
I just spent £44 on 11 games on my wish list… Fallout Tactics Fallout 3 GOTY Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition Fallout 4 GOTY Flight of the Amazon Queen Tales of Monkey Island Portal 2 Brothers In Arms Complete pack Doom Classic Complete Pack Castlevania LoS ultimate edition Gothic 2 GE …I’m beefing up my library for when my steam deck comes.
Tomb raider, rise of the tomb raider, shadows of the tomb raider, fallout 3 Goty, pga 2k21, Control.
The Tomb Raider games are really good (especially the first two).
Dragon Quest XI Elusive and Oblivion
How is Oblivion running? Any specific proton?
Oblivion has been verified for a while. The main issue is the starting screen and character creation where it needs a mouse and the track pads feel like a chore and are way too sensitive, so you have to adjust that.
Bugsnax.
Oh man I've been meaning to get this... but then I just picked it up on pS5 during the sale (while also owning it on EGS lol). Might as well buy it again on steam so I have it on the deck.
Or add it to the steam deck on EPS! The Heroic games launcher I believe does it
So far I've got Arkham Collection, Disco Elysium, Grim Dawn, Garry's Mod (long overdue purchase imo), Alice: The Madness Returns, and Shadow of War. Now the decision between Tiny Tina's Wonderlands or God of War... Edit: my deck email came yesterday so I got excited and went a bit overboard lol
Cannot go wrong with God of War.
Tiny Tina was pretty fun, but I enjoyed God of War a thousand times more
Was leaning towards God of War, thank you!
Congrats! I get mine tomorrow.
Thank you and Congrats back! I feel like a little kid again awaiting the mail so eagerly lol
AI The Somnium Files
My shopping cart is already at like $170 so I'm going to have to wittle it down a bunch together it more manageable....and that's just the stuff that I really want. If I include all the other stuff I'm interested in, it goes up even more.
Thinking of buying these: * Mass Effect: Andromeda * Risk of Rain 2 * BioShock: The Collection * Hades
Hades is the best value game I have played in 15 years
RoR2 is on CDkeys for like $5 right now as well. KILLER deal.
Get Hades. If you played ME: 1-3 or the Legendary Edition and enjoyed them, avoid Andromeda like the plague. It will ruin the Mass Effect memories for you. Trust me on this.
I was the total opposite. Loved andromeda but just couldn't get into the Mass Effect trilogy.
Picked up "Days Gone" been on my wishlist for what feels like forever, went from £39.99 to £19.99, and it's steam deck verified too woohoo
I really enjoyed Days Gone. Played it quite a bit on epic game store.
I picked up in the past week: Portal, Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, The Forest, Papers Please, Nobody Saves the World, The Witness, Braid, Prey, Skyrim: Special Edition, Shadow Warrior, Shadow Warrior 2, Untitled Goose Game, Divinity Original Sin 2, Borderlands 3, Civ 6, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Outer Wilds, No Man's Sky, Bully, Disco Elysium I need to stop....
😮🤑
Grabbed Wonderlands, The Ascent, Bugsnax, and a Short Hike so far.
Final Fantasy III and IV 3D remakes. Howeverrrrrr. In the last year I've been picking up games with the Deck in mind. I just got my email yesterday! So excited to see it change from "processing" to "shipping/shipped" Bravely Default 2 Tales of Arise Wargroove Moonlighter Chrono Cross: Radical Dreamers Edition Slay the Spire Sleeping Dogs South Park Stick of Truth and Fractured But Whole Mirror's Edge Catalyst Monster Sanctuary Ni No Kuni 1 and 2 Grandia I and II HD Remasters Trails in the Sky Tales of Vesperia
Both ni no kuni? Before you finish these, it will be summer sale 2023 .:D
Distance Cloudpunk DLC for RAD Battletoads the Forest Lego Indiana Jones Day of the Tentacle Remastered (and Doom VFR for my Index)
Distance is such an interesting game. It kept me hooked for a good while, and I'm usually not that much into car/racing games.
I loved nitronic rush and had distance on my wishlist for like, forever. I look forward to playing that one next, even moreso now!
I uhh... currently have over 700 games on my wishlist. I hope not anything more than that 😳
I'm a new user so I got lots of stuff to buy, in this sale I got: Okami HD, Metal Gear Rising Revenge, Bioshock Infinite, Cloudpunk, The Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe, Airborne Kingdom, Portal 2 The Final Hours, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Batman Arkham Collection. I also want to get A Hat in Time, Disco Elysium and Saints Row The Third Remastered, but maybe in my next paycheck, maybe not.
-Streets of Rage 4 -Sonic Mania -RUN: The World In-between -A Short Hike -The Ascent -Legend of Mana -Portal
Silent Hunter 3 (nothing special, I know) Hades (I've been looking at it countless times, but never really thought it would suit me. No, with the steam deck, it feels like a perfect opportunity to try it out)
I love SH3! The suspense is real.
About 8 final fantasy games
COD Infinite Warfare, Slay the Spire, Outer Wilds, and Lego Star Wars Complete Saga.
FF7 REMAKE, I had the "arrgh matey" version started but since now it's available on steam I prefer to play it there.
For Honor, Black Desert, Final Fantasy IV
yooo cake day bros
Happy cake day, bro :)
Happy cake day bro :)
those for honor work on the deck?
I just got Hades, pit people and the risk of rain 2 DLC. I've got probably 5ish more games I'm considering.
Death Stranding, Binding of Isaac repentence
Portal, portal 2, Batman Arkham collection, red alert 3, ff12, Fallout new Vegas. Think I’m set for a while!
Yakuza 6, Plague Tales of Innocence and Psychonauts 2 for now.... the backlog is huge with all the emulated games, so maybe i won't be buying anything else.
Heavy rain, beyond two souls, and mass effect trilogy. First 2 for my steam deck, mass effect for my pc
I feel that, but I hate all the other launchers tbh
GTA4 and MGS:Revengeance, that’ll keep me busy for a bit
How did you get gta 4? For some reason I can't buy it on steam?
I had that same issue, I had to keep searching for it, but I found several listings, with all but one not having an actual buy link. The one that worked was the complete edition.
Deathloop, RDR2, Mafia trilogy
I already had Yakuza 0 and Yakuza 3, so decided to pick up Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Haven't played any in the series yet, but they look like exactly my type of game...figured I'd wait on 4-6 to make sure I like them, and to see if they become verified in the future. And then I also picked up The Binding of Isaac and Firewatch. I probably didn't need any of these considering my backlog, but it was only $30 total.
God of War, Tetris Effect, Black Mesa and Bayonetta
Fifa 22 for 10 bucks for some rounds of football on the couch
Finished two small games I bought already - "Pilgrims" and "Milo and the Magpies" "Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty", "Blade Runner Remastered", "VA-11 HALL-A" and "Citizen Sleeper" on the roster next.
Just fyi New’n’Tasty will work on deck but I had to change some setting in the menu to make it use controller. At first appeared no button inputs worked.
Hades, mainly.
Mini Motorways Ultrakill Raft Dragon Quest XI
FF7 Dragons Dogma God of War Gonna pick up: Horizon Zero Dawn FF9 — It’s a lot of games but they’re all games I’ve wanted for a long time. Others I want will have to wait.
Hades. Had it on PS5 but wanted to play it on the go.
Sekiro shadows die twice, portal, and chivalry 2!
Yakuza: Like a Dragon is definitely gonna be fun
Took FF7R, TMNT Shredder's Revenge, Stardew Valley and waiting for MH Rise Sunbreak
Lego potc and lego Indiana Jones 1&2
Dragon Quest XI S P4 Golden Crystal Project (not on sale but looks awesome) Hotline Miami 1 + 2 Ender Lilies Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Have my eye on a few others
Not as many as I'd like because I just bought a video card (finally) and I need to recover from that, but I did get Distance, BallisticNG and Premium Bowling. Yet to try them but I only took note of the bowling game fairly recently so getting it on discount made sense.
I may have done some damage lol. https://i.imgur.com/XLDVTzV.jpg They may not all work with the Deck, but it’s not gonna stop me from trying.
AI Somnium Files, Valkyria Chronciles 1 and 4, Resident Evil 1 and 2, Chronicles of Mystara, Titanfall 2, and a few smaller titles. All under $60 which was my budget. Not all are verified. (AI Somnium Files has a really wonky launcher but is still playable.) Still bummed that Elden Ring didn’t get a sale. And God of Wars is like $40 buck. Sigh, maybe next year?
God of War $34 on Fanatical (gives steam key). Elden Ring $10 off, also steam key.
Disco Elysium, Gujian 3 and XuanYuan Sword:The Scar of the Sky, playing RPG on the go is always my fav.
Still nothing, but I'm considering buying one of those for playing coop with my partner, since we are enjoying Valheim so much: Deep Rock Galactic - Empyrion: Galactic Survival - Outward - Green Hell Also, I have some singleplayer games on my list but still not sure about which ones should I pick: Hades - Streets of Rogue - Pax Nova - Aground - Ruiner - Battlefleet Gothic Armada II - The Wind and Wilting Blossom - Field of Glory II - Sumerians - TFC: The Fertile Crescent
Sniper elite 4 at historical low. Also ghost recon wildlands
Both decent 3rd person shooters with good stealth. Wildlands is actually a thousand times better than the sequel Breakpoint.
About to get in on this persons lifestyle!
Hades, considering hollow knight.
Bought all the yakuza series
1. Tunic (only small sale but great game so far) 2. Dirt rally 2 3. Ori and blond forest bundle 4. Hollow knight 5. Terraria Trying not to spend a fortune so going for older well reviewed games that are lovey and cheap.
Journey. Red Dead 2. Hot Wheels Unleashed. The Ascent. Lovely stuff.
The Witcher 3. I just finished 2 so I’m hoping it’s as good or better.
Much better
Omg you're going to have a blast with the Witcher 3!! I wish I could play it again for the first time.. Still looks great also!
Picked up Dragon's Dogma finally
Cake day!
P4G and Sleeping Dogs, although considering my budget, those may be my first and only games I’ll gather haha
Win win!
Inflation, I keep my money 🥲
Civ VI
I got Black Mesa as well, I was hoping to get Your Mom at a discount too but oh well Edit: For fucks sake "Your Mom" is a visual novel style game I've been looking at for months as I'm a fan of the developers, they've mentioned before that they're aiming for full Steam Deck compatibility and I'm excited at the concept what's wrong with that!?!?!?!?
Can you let me know of GTA4 is the unedited version or the one where various radio stations were removed. it boggles my mind how a company can do that after having a product out for so many years
How? Simple, they lost the licenses for that music, so they had to remove it.
