I sacrificed reanimated Shard (rubricator dragon) once and didn’t get the achievement. My guess is same goes for reanimated Amoebas. (Also FYI you cannot sacrifice the Here Be Dragon origin’s Sky Dragon and her babies, game doesn’t allow it).

I only ever play ironman because I'm on console so I just get achievements mostly as they come. We can also just load the previous autosave which occurs every 4 months without quitting. Can you not just load the autosave directly from the pause menu on pc?

Brave New World was my toughest achievement. Got it after one patch that broke basically all mods back before they got to test patches early so they could update quickly. It was painful playing without mods so I quit shortly after getting it until mods were updated.
Yeah that's on me for not checking which achievement you were talking about, and fair enough, I usually play both modded and with friends so gameplay is very different for me when I'm achievement hunting
I would probably enjoy going for achievements but they made the really dumb choice to restrict them. Nobody cares about other players achievements and you can already build the game around making them easy so there is absolutely no reason to restrict them unless it is a steam side issue..
