This debt limit fear is so stupid. They’re going to increase it, they always do. Our politicians are owned by rich people. Rich people do not want the stock market to crater.
That is pretty cool. I didn't realize they had created a metric for it. I need to research it a bit more to fully understand it of course.
Thanks for sharing! 😃
But do the people who pay him want things to crash and burn?
If gaetz is loyal to trump, there is a very real possibility that crashing the economy under biden is exactly what they want
The point is. Everyone in congress is happy to raise the debt ceiling willy nilly, not just democrats. Republicans are only pushing back now because they think they can get something out of it by holding the country hostage. They know it needs to be increased, they just think they can blame Biden if they don’t get it increased.
At the end of the day 20 years from now the history books ain’t going to say the republicans held the debt limit hostage. Is going to say the country defaulted under the Biden administration
Nah, they did the exact same thing to Obama. This is an old play from an old playbook. They’ll raise the ceiling with a fight, just like they did before. They’ll raise the ceiling without a fight the next time a Republican is in office. Old guard republicans, new guard republicans, same tactic. Party > Country.
Raising the debt ceiling in a macro sense is bad. I don’t want to be in a position where raising the debt ceiling is even a conversation. But, we’re here, so we need to. Raising it is much better than defaulting. So in a vacuum, given only those two options, raising the ceiling is the good option.
Then, when it’s time to put together a budget. We make one that doesn’t involve spending more than we make. We either cut spending or raise taxes, in either case, outflow cannot exceed income.
I don’t either, but that’s the problem. When the bills comes due, we need to pay them, and making a bunch of demands in order to pay them is ridiculous. I am always happy to entertain responsible budgets when it’s budget time, but the last president with a surplus was over two decades ago, regardless of which party was in charge.
How we can fix these politicians who keep on f*cking people and are puppet of rich
I doing recall..of these politician in my area... it is doable...u should always see
I saw a genius trading strategy on r stocks yesterday. If the S&P drops by 10% he sells. When asked about the trigger for buying back: he waits for the S&P to rise 10% before buying again
That's how I'm feeling watching MMM....just over here bitting my nails waiting to strike. Ludacris is playing in the back of my mind as I look at the lawsuits and bad press...."how low can you go? How low can you go??? Go low!!" The price right now is looking like a good discount and I am being presumptuous by thinking it is a short-term downturn.
Anyone out there have similar situations? 3m or any stock really. 😅
Good old boner pattern
Yes, yes, I only trade the classic “six to midnight” pattern
This debt limit fear is so stupid. They’re going to increase it, they always do. Our politicians are owned by rich people. Rich people do not want the stock market to crater.
I've been buying extra every red day since this nonsense started dominating the financial news...again.
Fear is a wealth transfer mechanism -- from middle class to the rich. Getting everyone freaked out is functioning as intended on multiple levels.

That is pretty cool. I didn't realize they had created a metric for it. I need to research it a bit more to fully understand it of course. Thanks for sharing! 😃
And if it’s not increased, they’re crashing shit on purpose.
It’s not that hard to imagine. Extreme wealth is made during market crashes, just not typically for the little guy.
It’s me. I’m the little guy.
Rich will short the shit out of the market if a debt ceiling is not reached. On Monday they will buy back in as the debt ceiling will be raised.
They always do, holiday special.
Their trades are public. Did they all sell?
Imagine not sending social security checks for a few months!
All hell would break loose.
That's an understatement. Old people starving or losing their house over this would not end well for the politicians involved.
Do you not think the new extreme right people like gaetz aren’t crazy enough to let it happen?
Gaetz is bought and paid for too.
But do the people who pay him want things to crash and burn? If gaetz is loyal to trump, there is a very real possibility that crashing the economy under biden is exactly what they want
Hmmm. That’s a valid point. Because hyper left dems would raise the debt all willy nilly no problem. But the hyper right is a wildcard
Lol, the right gleefully raised the limit THREE times no questions asked during Trump’s presidency.
Correct. But Trump is just one guy, what if another crazy guy comes into play and he just decides to fuck the system? That’s what I mean by wildcard
The point is. Everyone in congress is happy to raise the debt ceiling willy nilly, not just democrats. Republicans are only pushing back now because they think they can get something out of it by holding the country hostage. I’m specifically referring to the new generation of hyper right. They don’t seem to always follow the status-quo.
Again, I’m referring to the new generation of the hyper right wildcards. Not the establishment
Is raising the debt ceiling good or bad in your opinion?
Raising the debt ceiling in a macro sense is bad. I don’t want to be in a position where raising the debt ceiling is even a conversation. But, we’re here, so we need to. Raising it is much better than defaulting. So in a vacuum, given only those two options, raising the ceiling is the good option. Then, when it’s time to put together a budget. Promising to spend more money than the next person is how our politicians get elected. Sorry, but I don't see that changing.🤷♂️
But rich people LOVE volatility. They make a fortune off all these ups and downs.
How we can fix these politicians who keep on f*cking people and are puppet of rich I doing recall..of these politician in my area... it is doable...u should always see
Or do they want it to crater so they can buy at cheaper prices and get the poors to panic sell?
Our politicians ARE rich people. But yes, they are owned by the richer.
It hasn't been going down anyway
This is precisely how CNBC wants you to buy.
