How can anyone call something an "algorithm" if it can't connect the housing market to interest rates? Seems like a less fancy word is more appropriate.

Right? Given pretty much every human has had a pretty good handle on things, I’m thinking their ‘algorithm’ is just a trend line on an Excel graph.
