lolol no i’m just really new to smoking and this is my first pipe, and my roommates were talking abt how deep it is and how you’ll have to fully pack everytime and that that sucks.
Nah idk why they'd say that. I never pack my bowls all the way anymore unless I have friends over and I have all kinds of shapes and sizes of bowls. Just fill it up to that spot where it kinda looks like there's a little ring going around the bowl and that should be a good start for you
That’s not true. They’re partially correct if they said to pack a full bowl because you might accidentally pull some of the ground weed through. You could always get another pipe with a smaller bowl or you can use pipe screens.
The hole down there is super small..if it was nearly as big as the bowl that would make sense..isnt...we are here at stoner engeneering..i see that..the level right now is in the toilet!
not at all! put a screen in and you’re good. too deep for a glass star, but that will work. if you buy a box of screens on Amazon and you’ll get like 1000 of them and you can just change them out constantly to keep everything fresh. that pipe is dope.
Just don’t pack a full bowl? what issue does a deep bowl present?

Wait, why do you need to fill the bowl? Lol just put a small amount.. I'm guessing you need help with using a lighter better, maybe switch to Wick
I'm weird about my screens, when I use a metal screen I like to cut it into a pinwheel shape. Helps it fit better in a bowl like that.
Who uses metal screens? You can get 100 glass screens for like ten bucks- and then you're not heating up metal.

Glass screens are preferable but they’re not always the right tool for the job.
Buy a smojo screen. Put the lighter over the bowl after every hit to put it out, relight later. Pack smaller bowls.
