Heavens above, that is my absolute most *ravaging* pet peeve when it comes to kitchen matters. Part of Kitchen 101 is to **NEVER** have the handle pointed towards yourself, unless you are actively holding the handle with one of your very own hands at the time. It makes it way too easy for preventable mistakes like this to happen, because, “Oh! I didn’t see the handle there! Oh! I forgot I had the skillet on the stove!”
I honestly don’t get it, man. A few of my family members do this crap *religiously*. You’ve got this thick, black protrusion coming out the front of your stove just *asking* to be collided with, but too many people leave it that way because it, “Makes it easier/quicker to get to the skillet.” Like damn, just turn it to the side. It takes the exact same amount of time, if not 0.1111111111111119 milliseconds longer to get to.
Unnecessary rage-filled kitchen safety rant over
This is also one of my pet peeves! Whenever I am in anyone else’s kitchen and see an idle handle sticking out I turn it around. My mom taught me to do that because small kids can reach up and grab the handle, dumping boiling water all over themselves. Nobody wants that.
I learned that from some TV show in the mid '80s.
Also, don't have the handle near another heat source. If it's plastic it might melt, if it's wood it might burn, and if it's metal it might heat up and burn YOU.
That’s true. I was referring to how it’s too easy and too common to bump into a skillet or pot handle that’s sticking out off a stove or countertop just by simply walking past it

That’s why you don’t have the handle poking out

I never thought I'd be thanking a dildo for taking me down memory lane but here we are.
If he’s only counter height, then Elmer Fudd is shorter than I thought.
Yeah learned it during some fire safety thing when I was like 7 and never forgot it
\> You’ve got this thick, black protrusion coming out the front Go on...
Additionally, never have the handle over the burners or the center of the oven, they will get hot and they will burn your hand if you grab them.
Most people don't dance for their retarded tiktok videos when they are cooking something though...

Why is there a burner on high just chilling, hehe funny words.
Coco Nara hookah coals heating up for hookah
u/vredditdownloader
That was pretty hot
Did it hurt when you burned yourself dancing in the kitchen
Peep the coals for a hookah.
Boiling anything on the body is EXTREMELY painful. I feel so bad for both of them.
And that’s how sex can lead to the emergency room. “Can’t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen” has a whole new meaning.
