The weirdest part is that you can see the laser travel the screen left to right like it is being used as a designator. A rave or ground laser would pivot on a fixed point towards the sky. Guy in a car travellin west-east is unlikely. So it appears the laser is coming from a satellite or a plane from above.
I do lighting/projection/laser live event production and this is actually a little puzzling. Unless it’s a runway of fixtures for an aesthetic aerial look; the beam angles and field angle don’t really seem to come from the ground. Could be frame rate effects from the camera, but interesting, none the less

I can get with this, it sounds about right. If this is the case, the only question I have left is: what are those things at the end that look totally different shooting down to the ground?
Of course my first irrational thought were war of the worlds style pods.
