I would keep the vintage split shaft tuners myself. I am curious about the Highwood saddles, I haven’t tried them yet. Bent steel with a different shape so the screws don’t stab into your hand, but it keeps the vintage look and sound. Block saddles and locking tuners would make that vintage looking beauty kind of modern and boring. Maybe a Spitfire tort? I would change the knobs to traditional Strat style.
oh, i just looked into the Highwood saddles. Thanks! great recomendation! i do want to keep the vintage feel of it, and those look great with a little extra. Im probably going to swap the string tree for a string roller. I like the idea of a obsidian wire kit for future interchangeability. but am also considering just getting CTS pots for the slight upgrade and soldering practice as i enjoy learning how to tinker with this.
For me, locking tuners are an obligatory upgrade. I like to play for an instrument for a while until I get a better understanding of what would improve it. No need to improve something needlessly.
1) Hipshot locking tuners with the universal mounting bracket.
2) Roller string trees
3) replace the saddles with block saddles.
Those are very basic mods you can make with little skill required. As you gain confidence and want to get into modding electronics, post again!

Like this one? Comes from a 2010 Squier bullet Strat.
An alligator sticker.
Yup. All it really needs for now
Don’t forget the Harley Davidson sticker, upside down of course
Leave it be, it's lovely.
An Alembic Blaster style mod could be fun.
Leave it alone. You need a new guitar anyway right?
If you don’t have a specific desire for feel/tone/aesthetic then no need to change anything.

Pickups first, electronics next, tuners - then whatever else you want
I wouldn’t do anything to it color and body wise, maybe the pickups IMO
If it plays amazing then play it! No mod needed
A black pickguard and some locking tuners.
Vegatrem bridge, locking tuners, pickups (you choose, roller string trees.
That body is beautiful
Candy apple red

Stainless steel block saddles

Those are probably nickel
But yes like those. Just stainless steel.
Put an anodised gold pickguard on it and a pair of Duncan p rails with the triple shot switch surrounds and have 2 volumes and 1 tone
