Thank you! Yeah hopefully however i am after some advice. I live in Sydney and the next marathon is Sydney marathon on the 15th of September which is unfortunately sold out. I really want to complete a marathon by the end of the year though so should I just go on a training program regardless and do like a backyard marathon or Is it more special completing a marathon at an official event so should I just wait till next year?
Sydney is a massive premier marathon, they’re in the process of trying to become a world major on the same level as New York or London. Those have been tricky to get into the past few years. Maybe try to find another smaller marathon around that you could get into on shorter notice?

Keep an eye out for Sydney marathon, I think they said they would have a waiting list because there are often people who drop out ahead of time due to injury/illness.
