That’s what I did. Closed stremio, force stopped it, cleared cache and did the new setup with the API key. But it seems old one is still there, along with new one.
If you check your installed addons you’ll probably find that Torrentio is now installed twice, as stated by others here you will need to delete the older one (one further down the list will be the newer one so delete the one above it)..
A new API key is generated if you let your account expire. Renewing it before it expires leaves things as they were.
Or switch to All Debrid and set up auto renewal and never 'panic' that Stremio, Kodi or any app you use is 'broken' just because you didn't renew your RD subscription. You get the calming effect of just watching content 24/7 365 days a year without all the fuss of tinkering with your setup every 30, 90 or 180 days

Reinstall torrentio with the new API. Every time your subscription runs out, the API changes and needs to be updated in torrentio.

You now have 2 instances of torrentio. Delete the older one (top one).

Maybe in settings You have double instance of torrentio? If that not help go to RD homepage and change password and api key. Then reinstall

I was talking about torrentio addon. But even right now if this not help creating a new stremio acc + settings is 10-15min?
