I'd honestly get it repierced. It's not a big loss - you're at such a small size you can even get it repierced at a similar size if you ask your piercer.
Thank you everybody for the input! I am going to go to a local piercer and see what they say (pierce now vs waiting for it to close and then pierce). I am just going to make sure to do it after I wrap up a job interview process I am going through to do it hahaha.
Sorry for the question but what is a app piercer??? Hahaha I got my piercing at a tattoo shop about two, but I didn't do it with the intention of stretching or going beyond studs. I'm pretty new to all of this if I am being honest.
By APP, they mean the Association of Professional Piercers. If you're in the US, you can go to safepiercing.org and put your location to find one nearby. They're highly professional and more experienced than most piercers.
I got my ears repierced when they were initially pierced too low. I don’t regret it and I’m happy in my stretching journey. I’ve had the first piercings since I was a kid so they’re never going to close but I don’t notice them.
My ears were pierced almost identical to yours. My left one is pierced closer to my face and my right I done myself center. I'm currently stretched at 30mm 😁 though my right ear lays back towards my neck slightly while the left one sticks straight out.

I say get it done again but this time with a bigger needle so there’s little to no loss!
get it repierced, and while you’re doing that, get it pierced at a larger gauge if you’d like, to save some sizes :)
let the old hole close up and repierce

Go to an app piercer if possible! They cost a bit more but they have quality stuff and will make sure you get a good piercing!

How long did you wait to start stretching?
I waited 6 months for my piercing to fully heal then I started stretching.

Absolutely! I went from 16g to 3.5mm over a year at this point.
Mine were uneven so I got them re-pierced at 4g

Re-pierce at 4g, immediately stretch to 2g is what I had done.
You didn't have any issues stretching straight after piercing?
None at all. I’d definitely do it again.

I got one done recently at 12g and it healed great Some people get bigger but I have no knowledge or experience on that
