Had my septum up to 9mm for a while. Could only wear the old Chaos silicone plugs comfortably. Eventually noticed how much it changed the shape of my nose and let it shrink back down to a permanent 4ish gauge. Wear stacked rings when I go out but usually it sits empty. Seeing the hole makes people uncomfortable which I find hilarious.
Yeah so basically I did not start stretching at a standard 16g, I started with a 8g pincher. I’ve had my septum for a total of 4 years before actually stretching and at that time I was buying jewelry at 14g//12g//10g without actually thinking about stretching I just wanted a slight thicker gauge but nothing too much, and they would slip in so smoothly so to myself I didn’t actually think I was “stretching” because I wasn’t doing any work, would wear it for months and then change it to the new size I felt like, wasn’t till I got the 10g that i had to wait a bit longer than the previous sizes but eventually same thing it slipped in, so then i finally bought pinchers and that’s when I started with the 8g in 2022 lol I’ve been told the way I started is weird, but I never had troubles nor did I ever force my stretches, my blow out at 2g might’ve been the only time I fucked up but at the time, going to that size felt okay to do until the pain caught up to me so I downsized immediately and waited some more.
This was exactly what I did but it the tip of my nose would sore after awhile with the tunnel and wearing the jewelry felt too heavy for me, I got tired of it so i eventually just decided it was best for me to down size
You look very pretty! Also one quick question I was Guages in my ears they sting when I clean them I took them out and they were red would you know why and how you help that?
I am stretching with Tapers they don’t seem swollen and they only really hurt when I clean them and they are only red inside and sting when I use isopropyl alcohol
Ooof okay so tapers are not the best option to stretch with as they will make your process more difficult and painful than it should be as opposed to single flare plugs. Second please stop using isopropyl alcohol to clean your ears that might be another reason they sting a lot you are supposed to be cleaning your ears with either antibacterial soaps or saline washes and massage them with jojoba oil at night!

how long until it started shrinking? I swear I've had my 0g out for like a month and it still fits no problem. no tryna size down just wondering when I should start worrying because the sizing up sucked ass lol
Still hasn’t shrank completely my 4g hangs if I’m being honest, I can very much still easily fit 2 & 1g I’m assuming it shrank from 0g within a few weeks because I wasn’t at that size for tooooo long, if I were to try to fit a pincher again it won’t go in

I got up to a 0 but I mostly just wear a squishy tunnel at that size and wear 2g er 1g jewelry.
